Threw the kicker loc out and installed the CT. What a huge difference, bass quality is much better, the adjustments help with tunning, the wiring was easy, customer service is great emailed me back with instructions and sent me a missing connector. Highly recommend, you won't know the difference untill you install this LOC definitely got me tempted now too get the CT amp and SUB, great quality stuff.

the manual is actually pretty in depth about how to set up not only the device but also your system so hats off to these guys when most companies don’t even bother. the build quality is decent, and this thing definitively packs a punch. if your using a smaller amp with a big subwoofer, this will definitively get your sound to where you want it to be. in my case, i have a 1500 watt amp powering one 12 inch sub so i actually had to turn the volume a bit down. it comes with a bass lift feature which is pretty cool, it compensates for your factory radio turning down the bass when u increase volume and the manual tells you how to set that up. the only reason i’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because i feel like theres a filter on it that cuts off around 200HZ. the rumble and hits of the bass are pronounced but i noticed if the bass goes higher in frequency, my sub wont play it. i have the same set up that i had before buying this, the only thing that changed in my setup is my line out converter and the sub used to play the higher frequencies (around 250hz) fine with my old converter. granted, this may be something that’s my fault but i went over everything in my setup like 4 times and i can’t find anything that would cause this. either way, it’s a solid converter and i would say was worth the 80 bucks i spent for it.

Bought and installed in November worked and sounded great then started to get engine noise in subwoofer. Went back through wires, power is run down drivers side speakers down passenger side. All RCA plugs are clean ant tight was down to amp or high low converter, the later was cheaper so i tried adjusting the main and bass. When the main knob was turned system crackled and popped then sounded like sound was in a tin can. Replaced it with another of same brand problem fixed. Got in touch with CT Sound the talked for a few minutes then nothing for 3 days so I text again was offered a replacement well replacement is done already. DO NOT BUY. Customer service sucks and product sucks!

These style converters are great for adding a system to a stock head unit vehicle hook this up in the trunk to the rear deck speakers and now you can have what you need for amp and sub works great for my set up

I originally purchased a Kicker passive LOC and it had distortion from the outputs. (I don't recommend Kicker passive LOC). I replaced the Kicker passive LOC with this CT active and the sound is great! It was definitely worth the $30 more. I would recommend this product.
