I had been in search of the perfect pillow for many years. I like a firm pillow. Wimpy pillows just don't do it for me. And buying a firm pillow that turns into a wimpy pillow in a week is very offensive. I bought these pillows with the idea that it would be just another disappointment ... but with the reviews, I gave it a shot. They are the best pillows I have ever owned. Now if they zoom up on price or they start making them lousy to cut corners, then I will go on another rant to my friends and family - but right now I am telling everyone what wonderful pillows these are. Sure, you can take out some fill and make them soft if you want to. They even give you a little bag to keep the extra fill in. But ... some of us (and I really mean MOST of us) like a firm pillow. I have not awakened in the morning with a headache since I started using these pillows. Not making a medical claim ... just stating a fact. I bought these pillows because I have had so much trouble with flat pillows. Flat pillows led to neck and back issues and so on. I have had these pillows for months and they still do not go flat like the pillows I have bought in the past. I can adjust the filling in the pillow to have more or less fluff. I did choose to keep all the fluff in my pillow. This is the best pillow I have had so far. ... show more

These are the perfect thickness but where you lay your head, it goes flat. All the stuffing gets pushed to the back of the pillow.

Amazing pillow as far as comfort goes, but it definitely has a chemical smell and I'd advise using gloves when removing filling. After unzipping the inner pillow to remove some filling, the chemical fumes were strong enough to burn my eyes and nose. For some reason I went ahead with the adjustment with my bare hands and I ended up with something between a chemical burn and an allergic reaction on them and it took a couple weeks for it to heal. We are keeping these pillows because we haven't found anything but absolute trash in that department over the last 2 years, (we are still looking) but I'm 100% SURE there are health risks tied to sleeping on these long term after seeing what happened to my hand just from touching the filling for about 90 seconds. 🙁 ... show more

I really love these pillows. Until I bought these I had yet to find a pillow that I didn't eventually need to fold over in two to get enough support. They come with a TON of stuffing - even I had to remove some, which is good! Rather have too much than too little. They are very comfortable my head sinks in enough to feel cozy but still be supported. They fluff back up right away. My 25 pound beagles also love them and nap on them all the time and they are fluffed back up to full support in time for me to rest my weary head at night. The case is nice but I do put another pillowcase over them to match my sheets and to make washing easier. I am seriously thinking of buying more of these, and maybe some as gifts for my parents, too.... ... show more

Don’t listen to these negative comments. You literally gotta reach into the line and pull apart the compressed stuffing and fluff it a a little bit from the outside after. Once you’re done great you can use it, then 12 hours or so later I came back to an even loftier pillow. I’m a plus size woman and almost 6th tall and I needed a thick and pillow with some fluffy firmness to it because I side sleep with a CPAP mask on at night. My partner has the second pillow of the pair and she has said that it has helped the stiffness in her head and neck from the old pillows. She said she also feels like she’s getting better quality sleep at night (she is a chef) and makes her feel much more rested for the next day on her feet. 10 / 10 highly recommend. I like a firm pillow. I dislike overly soft or flat pillows that don't keep my head elevated. This concept is very new to me. When the pillows arrived they seemed VERY "high" and firm. Like VERY, VERY high. I laid down and put my head on the pillow and it was too "full". I opened up the pillow and pulled out some of the memory foam. It's in very small pieces. Eventually I got the pillow where I want it and it's even getting slightly "flat" now so I just added more of the memory foam that I took out (I kept it in the bag that came with the pillows). I have had the pillow for about 4 weeks and it's very comfortable. The pillow is fully adjustable so you can get it exactly how you like it. ... show more
