Worked really well to support my sagging memory foam mattress (that’s around 8 years old and should be replaced). I had been using a memory foam body pillow but it would get too flat and the sinking would come back. I added this on top of the pillow to see how it works and now my bed is very clearly higher in the middle. I’ve slept on it a few nights and it has worked but I think I’ll try removing the pillow to see if it’s just right. I’ll update after a few more nights if possible. It did have a faint whiff of that foam that’s been compressed and wrapped in plastic smell but my nose adjusted fast enough while letting it rise that I don’t think it’s a big deal (of course your experience may be different especially if you’re extra sensitive to that smell—I am fairly sensitive to smells though and once it was under my mattress I haven’t noticed at all).

We have a combination spring and foam (TempurPedic type) adjustable mattress that sits on a solid box frame, no springs. This worked great and stiffened up the support of the center of the bed and did not interfere with the head and foot elevation adjustment feature. I would guess that If your mattress sits on a spring frame you may find the support less noticeable.

This does what it is said it does. We have an 18 year old memory foam mattress with craters in it. She does not want to get a new mattress despite my L4-L5 issues. I placed foam support between the box spring and mattress on my side of the bed; the mattress is now nearly level on my side. . Follow the instructions- let the foam support decompress for at least 2 full days. The support is holding up after a week. Do I still need a new mattress? Yes. Will the support foam improve my sleep posture? Yes.

Was not impressed, initially, when we received this as it seemed more like a mattress topper than anything that would provide the necessary lift our sagging mattress needed. We have been pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend this if you find the center of your mattress sagging, especially if it's causing any discomfort to the user. UPDATE: nearly a year later, and we plan to purchase a second one for another sagging mattress. Great value for the price, still highly recommend.

I don't recommend this product. It's crazy that they don't make it to cover the entire bed, and for that reason, it ended up literally breaking my mattress. I have a full size mattress, pretty much the smallest mattress an adult can have. It was badly sagging in the middle and I really could not afford a new bed. So here's what ends up happening :: I buy one pad to test it out and to sleep confined to that one area that's like two feet across. It's very firm when I first get it but it eventually seems to be working fairly well. So then you're thinking OK well either I return this or I buy another one to cover the entire bed, across at least. So I did the latter. It still doesn't cover the entire bed and then the whole far end of my mattress is completely slumped down and the bed feels crazy. Decent to sleep on, not great by any means, very uncomfortable to lay and relax or sit and read, overall feels extremely unbalanced, precarious and dangerous for the spine, neck and hips. The good news is I returned both and pulled the trigger to buy a brand new queen size Sealy mattress and got a great deal! So thanks for the inspiration, I guess. But my take is this product won't really help you, and it's better to just go for the new mattress on a payment plan! Can't wait for it to arrive on Thursday.

I bought this, expecting little due to the few negative reviews, but was desperate, so went ahead and bought it. When first I took it out of the packaging to allow it to expand/air out, my lack of expectations seemed justified. On the thinner edges, I could press with thumb and forefinger and practically identify my own fingerprints. I gave it a full 24 hours before I brought it to my bed. I have a 100% latex mattress that developed a lengthwise dip in the center over time (seven years), largely due to the fact that my living space is so small that I spend all day, everyday on my bed, sitting through the day while on the computer or watching TV, then sleeping at night, of course. Latex mattresses are VERY heavy, so I had little hope of this thin, soft thing making any sort of difference. I was 100% wrong and happy to be so; this made ALL the difference! I could not believe how the "ditch" running lengthwise in my mattress completely disappeared! I held off writing a review until I saw how it was going to change over the next week or so and guess what? No change at all, still have a mattress with a flat surface with no ditch to roll into overnight. So far as the negative reviews for this item go, I have to assume that people were either installing this immediately upon arrival, before it had a chance to expand, or they were trying to fill a crater on a 20 year old memory foam (absolute worst mattress material ever made) mattress and expecting a time machine result. Even if this only lasts a few months, I would happily buy another, no question.
