Instructions included. A little tricky getting it around exhaust pipe. Bolt fishing wires very helpful. Fits perfectly under rear bumper of our 2023 Chevy Trax

    • Bolted right on. Nice quality.
I like the quality, the bolt holes lined up perfectly . only thing is you really need a lift or a way to get the back of the car way up in the air to make it easy to install if you're doing it yourself. And just an installation tip, the wedge washer is for the driver side rear most bolt between the frame of the hitch and the frame of the car it's not described in the directions and you don't know it until you get the bolt through the frame of the car. Installation also goes easier if you disconnect the rubber exhaust hanger on the passenger side rear of the exhaust and let the exhaust hang a bit won't hurt the exhaust at all. Me and a friend were able to install this in about 1 hour. We are both very mechanically inclined and I had a set of plastic ramps to drive the rear wheels onto to give us room. I installed it on my 2017 Buick Encore Preferred and I did not have to cut any plastic or modify the car at all. I did not have to use a shim/spacer where they said I might, but I did use an unexplained wedge/spacer on the only hole that the car already had a nut to accept the one off bolt supplied. I wanted this size hitch for my Buick as I want to mount a really high quality bike rack to it and the best require the 2" reciever. ... show more
