Description

The Holosun 407K / 507K-X2 Series is a compact open reflex sight tailored specifically for subcompact and micro-compact pistol platforms. Designed with concealed carry and everyday use in mind, both delivers dependable performance in a streamlined and lightweight form factor. 407K-X2 features a crisp 6 MOA dot while 507K-X2 features 2MOA/32MOA Circle Dot powered by Holosun’s efficient Super LED, offering up to 50,000 hours of battery life on setting 6. Shake Awake technology conserves battery by powering the sight on with motion and turning it off when idle. Lock Mode—first introduced in Holosun's law enforcement models—prevents accidental changes to settings, making it an excellent choice for defensive carry. The "K" series is built with a rugged 7075-T6 aluminum housing and is IP67 waterproof-rated for durability in harsh conditions. It includes a side-mounted battery tray for quick and easy replacement of the CR1632 battery without removing the sight. With 12 brightness settings, users can fine-tune their aiming experience for any lighting environment. Utilizing Holosun’s proprietary “K” footprint, the "K" series is a direct fit for pistols like the SIG P365X/XL and others designed for micro red dots, though it may require an adapter plate for some slide interfaces.

Rugged, reliable, and smart.
Color: Black (Green) Reticle type: 6 MOA
This Holosun optic stands out as an exceptional piece of engineering, making it a premier choice for an everyday carry (EDC) setup. It offers a sophisticated blend of high-end performance and rugged reliability while remaining at an accessible price point. Out-of-the-Box Precision and Setup The optic arrives essentially zeroed right out of the box. Included in the package is a dedicated tool for fine-tuning windage and elevation, offering crisp, tactile clicks that adjust straightforward. While the initial alignment is impressive, using a laser bore sighter is a great way to perfectly dial the dot to the specific ballistics of a firearm for absolute precision. Advanced Motion-Sensing Technology The motion-sensing technology is highly effective. The "Shake Awake" feature ensures that the moment the gear is handled, the Optic instantly activates the last used brightness setting. To conserve power, it is programmed to shut off automatically after periods of inactivity, extending the battery life. Installation and Fit Depending on the specific slide cut, a separate mounting plate may be necessary. While these typically cost upwards of $50, the investment ensures a solid, secure, and precise fit that remains stable under recoil. Once properly mounted, the housing sits low enough to provide an excellent lower 1/3 co-witness with standard iron sights. But better if the firearm has optic iron sights. Side-Loading Battery Compartment This design is a significant advantage. Unlike optics that require removal from the slide to swap batteries, this side-loading feature allows for battery changes without losing the zero or needing re-adjustment. Reticle Clarity The green dot is incredibly crisp and bright, making it very easy for the eye to acquire quickly in various lighting conditions. Construction The build quality is top-tier, feeling robust enough for the rigors of daily carry without adding unnecessary bulk. Final Assessment I prioritize quality and reliability; this optic represents an excellent investment. It delivers its promises of durability and precision, serving as a dependable "set it and forget it" solution for a defensive setup. ... show more

Perfect Companion for My Hellcat Pro – Fast, Reliable, and Clear
Color: Black (Green) Reticle type: 6 MOA
I paired the HOLOSUN HE407K-GR-X2 with my Hellcat Pro for concealed carry, and it’s been a flawless experience from day one. The green 6MOA dot is incredibly crisp, easy to pick up under stress, and ideal for rapid target acquisition. Pros: Shake Awake is a Game Changer: The motion-activated feature works perfectly—wake it up instantly just by drawing, with no need to fumble for buttons. Saves battery and adds a level of readiness that’s hard to beat. Super Clear Glass: The lens clarity is excellent. No glare, distortion, or tint issues. It provides a sharp sight picture both in daylight and low-light environments. Green Dot Visibility: The green dot really stands out, especially in bright conditions. It’s easier on my eyes compared to red dots and tracks quickly during follow-ups. Compact & Lightweight: Fits perfectly on the Hellcat Pro without feeling bulky or disrupting concealment. The profile is sleek and low enough to co-witness with iron sights. Durable Build: Feels rugged and reliable. The construction is solid and gives confidence that it will hold zero through rough use. Cons: Button Placement Takes Getting Used To: Adjusting brightness can be slightly awkward at first until muscle memory kicks in. Not a dealbreaker at all, but something to be aware of. Final Verdict: If you’re looking to upgrade your EDC setup, this optic is worth every penny. Between the green dot clarity, Shake Awake feature, and perfect fit for compact pistols like the Hellcat Pro, the HE407K-GR-X2 delivers pro-level performance in a small package. I trust it with my CCW—enough said. ... show more

Excellent Buy! I am very impressed!
Color: Black (Red) Reticle type: 6 MOA
Where to begin? Whenever you buy budget, or less expensive optics you always have to be skeptical if you're a smart buyer. If you're serious about quality, you really don't have to go any further than Holosun. I will admit, that this is the first time I ever bought a HOLOSUN product, and I have pretty much stuck to higher end, or if I was going to buy budget I looked at o l i g h t. For example, this has a shake awake or even better than that, I would call it a motion sensor. I think that's what they call it as well. What I mean is, as soon as you pick it up, the optic turns on and is ready to rock abd roll. It also turns on in the last setting that you had tuned in. This includes brightness, zeroing and clarity. After 10 minutes of non-use, the optic automatically turns off. I can't imagine anyone not liking that, but they do allow you to lengthen that time to 30 minutes and on to over an hour and a half and then even turn the feature off, although I don't have any idea why anybody would ever do that. To be perfectly honest, I was skeptical at first. I am a believer now. Let me address one elephant in the room. This optic does not come with any kind of a mounting plate those are firearms specific and you will have to purchase it separately they run between 30 and $50. They are titanium, in my case I needed to mount it to a Hellcat, and the plate was perfect! This is no slight on the manufacturer because they would have to include many, many different types of plates to mount different Optics across many platforms. It is irritating to have to buy a separate mounting plate but I completely understand why. Now there's another manufacturer out there that claims that you don't need a mounting plate for theirs however I've learned a lesson from this particular manufacturer in fact I actually have an email from that manufacturer with their similar product that's like $100 less however, there are some issues with regard to the perfect fit and he told me that I should use a tach hammer to hammer the site into place this is not this manufacturer but the manufacturer who I referred to earlier in this review. So this super bright Marvel doesn't need any of that you'll never have to whack this with a hammer or anything else. Kudos to the manufacturer however they gained the technology, (I know that this troubles some folks myselfincludedin some instances), however, they have improved on the technology, not merely mimicked the technology. In my humble opinion, this is probably worth about twice what it's listed for. It has an awesome build quality there's no question about it, the brightness we'll go as bright as you could possibly ever need and you can dim it in the same way depending on your environment. I can go on and on but I won't thank you very much this is an awesome purchase if I could give this 10 Stars I would! ... show more

Worth the price

Fast shipping. Even with an astigmatism I’m able to get a pretty clear dot, still somewhat blurry but a lower brightness setting helped alot! Easy mounting!

It does everything well that it says it will do.

The site came quickly and fit very well. Everything works well, just wish it was a 3 mil dot. It feels like it is built like a tank and will take a beating.
