Been running this on my 43x since the day I bought it, and have yet to even change the battery, which is definitely a testament to how efficient it runs. Fit and finish is still like new. Even after a couple drops from waste and even shoulder height. Durability is undeniable. Installation only took a couple of minutes, but I did have to shorten one of the mounting screws so it wouldn't mess with the ejector. Immediately lost the adjustment tool, so have to buy a new one. This is my 4th Holosun purchase I'm running this on a handgun it works well, was easy to install, after some trial and error I found a brightness setting that works for me in most conditions. Shake awake conserves battery and solar can recharge if necessary. Holosun products a a good value Imo

Auto brightness hasn't worked very well for me. If you're inside or under cover, looking out into daylight, that's a problem. Which is just an inherent flaw of how the sensor works. So I just leave it on a fairly high setting and pair it with a light. Also can't lock the buttons in Auto mode. It can be effectively locked in a static setting, but this feature should be built in to any/every mode. Especially something made primarily for carry, that's shoved into a tight space where buttons can easily be compressed accidentally. I had this happen just against my skin. Other than that, it's a fantastic sight, and Holosun has gained a new loyal customer. I got 2. Fits great on a P365. Put the other one on an 11" AR. Will likely swap the latter for something with a little bit larger window at some point, but I can reliably ring torso steel at 200yd handheld. It's a very precise optic. Would really like to see a lock setting added to every mode in future products. And I would personally prefer the reticle selections that are on the 507COMP. But highly recommend, regardless. ... show more

Upgraded from the 407k to this for CCW since its closed emitter. The 407 accumulated a lot of dust and pocket lint which was very difficult to clear without q-tips. If this gets lint on the screen it’s a quick wipe with your finger and you’re good to go
