Description

The AEMS-Core-Red (Advanced Enclosed Micro Sight, Core features) is a compact optical sight with 2x larger lens surface area than standard 20mm micro style sights for increased FOV. AEMS-Core-Red is made from durable cast aluminum and includes a 1.63” dot height (lower 1/3 co-witness) Picatinny mount. AEMS-Core- Red features Holosun’s Red Super LED and includes 8 daylight and 4 night vision compatible intensity settings, a precision 2MOA, and Shake Awake technology. A side mounted battery trays houses a 2032 battery which provides up to 50k hour battery life. AEMS-Core-Red strikes a balance between performance and features for users of any level.

I didn't want or need the donut reticle for my sbr galil. The price point and same field of view you get for the higher level aems justifies this purchase. I don't want or need lens caps either. With that being said, I used the savings to buy an aems core low profile mount and paid it on my sbe galil ace-- which both pair nicely in terms of target acquisition and simplicity.     • Important to know details are not as clear as I would like in prodct info page.
I bought this as a gift for a person with some eyesight problems because he liked the recticle in one of my other holosun products. My biggest gripe is with the marketing of this optic, it is near identical in appearance to other holosun models that have the ability to change recticles from standard 2moa do to the 2moa dot with larger surrounding circle (like the holosun logo printed on the side of this optic, it’s kinda their trademark recticle). This optic is ONLY 2moa dot and cannot be changed. It also doesn’t come with the clear covers that the non-CORE version come with and the lack of solar panel. For the price this unit really shouldn’t even exist it’s not a very big increase to get the better version. If this wasn’t a gift I would have for sure returned it but found out too late.
