I’m not really sure why there were so many complaints about putting this fan together. It took me 15 mins tops to put it together. I barely read the instructions. It all seemed pretty obvious on how to assemble this beautiful fan. I am very happy with my purchase. After putting it together and turning it on. The fan does put out an awesome breeze the noise level isn’t bad at all even on high. I am a year round fan sleeper so this will be a great stylish addition to my bedroom. The price was pretty decent as well and I will also say the quality of this fan is totally worth it. The fan seems pretty stable and appears that it will withstand the test of time. Just buy it

I had a good experience with a Holmes fan and this new one is also a very good fan. It is very a very good looking fan with all chrome finish and keeps me cool. It has a remote which makes it easy to operate.

Great fan for a reasonable price

This fan has made all the difference in cooling my living room. The window A/C is on it's last leg but still cools most of the time if I set it no lower than 72°F. I set up my pedestal fan about 4 ft from the A/C and the amount of cooling this thing puts out is phenomenal! Sometimes I get so cold I have to turn it off. I'm in NWFL and heat indexes have been 3 digits the majority of the summer. I recommend this fan to anyone.

Forced to Destroy a Working Product, Then Denied Resolution

This review is not about the fan itself. Ironically, I actually liked the fan. It had an attractive stainless-steel finish, looked great in my home, and for the most part performed well. If this review were based solely on the product, I would likely be leaving a much higher rating. The issue was that the high-speed setting failed. Low speed worked. Medium speed worked. When switched to high, the fan would begin accelerating normally, then suddenly lose power and stop running. It was a defect, but the fan was far from useless. When I contacted customer service, I was instructed to permanently disable the fan by cutting the power cord and disposing of it before they would honor their resolution. I specifically expressed concern about how wasteful that seemed. I even asked if I could simply keep the fan rather than destroy a product that still functioned on two of its three speed settings. That request was denied. To be completely fair, when customer service informed me that my initial photographs were not sufficient, I submitted an additional photograph clearly showing the cut power cord as requested. Despite complying with every instruction provided, I was later informed that because I no longer had the product, they could not proceed with my claim. Think about that for a moment. A mostly functional stainless-steel fan that could still cool a room on low and medium settings was intentionally disabled, thrown away, and added to a landfill because that was the process required by the company. After multiple rounds of photographs and documentation, I was still left without a meaningful resolution. I understand that companies need procedures to prevent fraud. What I do not understand is a process that requires customers to destroy usable products, creates unnecessary waste, and then leaves those same customers worse off for following instructions. The part I find most disappointing is that I raised these concerns before cutting the cord. I specifically expressed how wasteful the process felt and asked whether there was an alternative. Instead, I was instructed to proceed. Holmes didn't just lose an opportunity to resolve a warranty claim. It turned a partially functional product into garbage and a satisfied customer into a former customer. The irony is that my last name is Holmes. For 43 years I've proudly carried that name. After this experience, I have more confidence in my family name than I do in the company that shares it. The fan lost its high-speed setting. Holmes lost a customer. And all of it was completely unnecessary.

Clicking sound, needs improvement

Stylish and the air flow is great, but I wish I could make it oscillate with the remote instead of manually. Additionally, we've taken this apart twice because there's a clicking noise (as others noted) when it oscillates, but it's not going away. The logo sits at an angle instead of straight, and I'm not sure if we're not putting it together as well as we could, so it's either clunky and flawed or it's us, and if it's us, it shouldn't be this tricky to set it up.
