i got it for my bedroom to have a comfortable nook to sit, read, and watch tv in. it took me a hot minute to build it but the process itself is very simple, i'm just dumb. it is genuinely SO comfortable, it really does feel like a hug. i'm 5'5" 160lb and its very comfortable for me. the material is like microfiber, and u can't take the cover off to clean so u have to spot clean any stains. it's worth the money in comparison to other 'bedroom chairs' on amazon (like another saucer chair i was considering bc of it's cheaper price). ... show more

Lightweight indeed. It’s undoubtedly made for gentle use. Doubt it could hold a heavy person for very long. I like the look but given how it’s built I’d say it’s a $40 chair at best. Cute and sturdy enough… lawn chair sturdy… but definitely not built for heavy use. One of the ties shredded instantly as I was tying it. The stitching has gaps that make me question its longevity. I’ll keep it because it’s cute and it’s just me using it in my bedroom occasionally. I would NOT put this in a teenager’s room or in a room where it’s gonna be heavily used. Made for someone who can give it gentle use. Lost one star for the tie that instantly shredded and lost another star as it is Definitely overpriced. 3 stars as it looks good, it’s comfortable enough, and it supports MY weight. I needed a small, super cozy, washable chair and affordable chair to fit in my beer shed. This fit the bill! I’m only upset I didn’t get the ottoman with it! My two year old set it up for me — it was that easy. She didn’t want to leave it afterwards though!
