Have a Go Pro? Create more amazing footage with this Gimbal. The Hohem Isteady 4 Pro is the most unbelievable, affordable accessory for this action camera. The setup is fairly simple (calibration a bit confusing) but once you've linked the two devices together via bluetooth you're off and running smoothly. Go pros with the highest amount of stabilization cannot create the smoothness the gimbal added on can. The joystick works perfectly and the footage becomes smoooooth!! It also allows you to charge your go pro battery using the gimbal as you shoot. As we all know the go pro batteries do not last and this function is a lifesaver. The price is incredible and the build very professional. One drawback is that you cannot use your media module or go pro audio block so we specifically use the camera for B roll and action footage. If we use it at an event for capturing a speaker we purchased an extension bar that is placed under the gimbal and a 1 foot USB extension cord to tether to the USB C opening on the GoPro. Simple!!! This gimbal feels pretty sturdy. The HoHem App is responsive and connects quickly. Response between joystick and the gimbal itself is fast. The app offers numerous adjustments you can use for the gimbal i.e. speed control etc. Quick connect for securing your camera to the gimbal frame. You may have issues with how you charge your camera while in the gimbal like if the charge port gets blocked based on how you have to secure the camera to the gimbal. The only disappointing thing is that the listing says the gimbal is compatible with a Hero 3. Well that isn't entirely true. I definitely wouldn't have bought it if I knew you couldn't use the joystick on the gimbal to take photos or stop/start your video. The gimbal works with the Hero 3 but it cannot connect via bluetooth/WiFi to it to use all the features ... show more

It works but I took 1 star off because it has issues connecting with my GoPro and I only took 1 star off because I don't know whos' to blame, the iSteady or the GoPro. Sometimes the 2 well connect automatically as advertised but more times than not I need to go into the connection settings of the GoPro and remove and then readd the Isteady for them to connect, it's an annoyance that I have to deal with every time I turn the device on. Aside from from that I like the device. I can use it to change camera modes and start/stop recordings. It comes with case. It also comes with legs to sit it on a table, I guess, but not sure why you would buy this device for any other reason than holding it. Stabilization is pretty good but it could be better. Overall I think it's a decent device but probably should cost a little less. ... show more

I saw this revewed by a couple of creators on Youtube, and for its price decided to buy one. It definitely improved my camera work, and for its price I confidently recommend it. My only criticism is that you have to insert the camera upside-down in order to power it from the gimbal, and which makes powering the camera on/off inconvenient. I purchased this product September 11th, 2025. It was working fine for a few months. Today August 30th, 2026, the Bluetooth connection failed, resulting in not being able to use gimbal with GoPro 9. Very disappointed in this product. The only thing I can do now is manually control the gimbal with one hand and control the GoPro 9 with the other. I am giving 1 star because I the gimbal is not completely useless. ... show more

Great value for money, well packaged, comes with needed cables, carry case, and easy mounting for DJI Action 6 plus others. A quality product with quick & easy setup, mounting and pairing with smartphone and camera. All 3 or individual axis control with axis lock, smooth slewing using auto or manual axis adjustment. Professional movement during recording of walking, stair climbing and hiking.     • This CANNOT use with GoPro Sound mod.
Keep this in mind. This CANNOT use with GoPro Sound mod. works well with bare GoPro. Some models you have to mount UPSIDE down in order to use the charging C port. (This is so annoying. You cannot access some menues when you mount upside down with charging cable. But otherwise, it is a good product.

That's why I had to order this one again. It is a good product.
