Was stoked to put these in and they are definitely beefier than stock. With the RoadGlide Special they do slide in without taking the fairing off... however - The white casing connection is not really plag n play - the connection is slightly wider than the female connector from the bike so either you need to adjust the connector or trim a bit off the male tongue or I suppose stretching the female housing a bit. I got it on but had to make this work. The black connector goes right on - additionally pay attention to the instructions - the backside wiring needs to go in at 12 o'clock on the RoadGlide - you will mush the wiring if its at 6 o'clock. Looking forward to giving it a go on a ride now... ... show more

If you're one of us that wants to upgrade your 10w stock HD speakers but not install an amp just yet, these are a great starting point. These are 2ohm speakers so they match the impedance of the stock head unit. A 4ohm speaker is more common but going from 2ohm to 4ohm, basically cuts your head unit's dismal wattage in half. So, unless you're adding an amp, you really don't want to do that. These are waterproof/resistant, drop right into the factory holes, and wire right up without any hassle. Plus they'll handle the additional wattage of that amp you add later! Will you be able to hear them a block away? No. But you'll be able to hear them rolling down the highway at 80, which is better than what your stock speakers was capable of. Buy the speakers! ... show more

I installed these speakers in my tour pak on my '21 H-D Road Glide Limited. These speakers are Made in the USA! They're 2ohm like the factory speakers so they're plug and play. There's no flash needed for the radio. Thet may be slightly louder than the stock speakers but I'd say if you're looking for LOUDER then these aren't it. However if your looking for good quality clean nd crisp sound then these are the speakers for you! Speakers come with nice new Hog Tunes grills too 😎 ... show more

Harley said they updated there speakers in the 2024 models! This is hand down a better set-up.. clear and loud! Easy install on my 2024 road glide. Definitely recommend. More bang for a lesser buck!

I bought these new speakers for my 2017 Ultra, and they are fantastic! The swap was quick, only four screws per speaker. The new grills are metal compared to the factory cloth ones which is a definite upgrade. The terminals on the bottom were soldered well and the speakers are definitely better built than factory units. The sound is definitely better than my factory speakers! ... show more

I'd had enough of the awful sound on my stock speakers on my '15 Road Glide Special. Yeah, I know, 4 and a half years of suffering before I gave in. I know an amp would have helped immensely but I'm in between contracts so funds were an issue. I can definitively say that these weigh at LEAST double the OEM speakers. The magnet is massive in comparison. install: It took all of 2 minutes to remove the factory HD speakers (also 2ohm like these) and just a little finesse to get these in the fairing speaker enclosures. Yeah, it was a tight fit, but they went in with a little careful twisting and turning. On my bike I had to re-use the factory grills, but that's ok, I don't mind the look of them. Sound wise, the bass response was noticeably better and it didn't seem to distort at max volume like my factory speakers did. I wish I had done this oh, 4 years ago. I've regretted a LOT of purchases here on Amazon, but this isn't one of them. ... show more
