I have this pair of shoes in all three colors, Navy, Brown and now Black. Why? Because they give me height, they are supportive, comfortable, easy to wear and they go with everything. I have arthritis in almost every joint and I can still wear them (yes my back is a mess) and I can wear them shopping in Costco! (Imagine the walking I do in there!) Okay, yes, they are comfortable, they are cute, I found these for $22. I knew they were a deal. But if you find them for twice that, you will easily get your money's worth out of them. I have the other two pair for a year now and they still look new. They are durable. They are my perfect shoes. I love these. I am 5'3" and feel like I can run in them. Yes, they are true to size. If you can still find them, get 'em. (They are not made anymore - so they are not easy to find.) Edit: RocketDog makes good solid footwear. There is traction for walking the dog, getting around in the rain or shopping for hours. There is comfort for your feet, not squishy but not hard like a rock, either. Something like rubber that conforms well and gives you support. Best part? The black is deep black, the brown goes with everything and the navy blue works with jeans or almost any navy outfit. They are all dark tones. These shoes DON'T squeak, they are super quiet so you can sneak up on your dog or cat - well, not really - but almost! I have had mine for a couple years now and they still look almost new. I wear these almost every day for the last few years. I feel this purchase would easily be worth $60 if you find them for that. I would buy them again... but they are holding up rather well. ;)

Had a pair of these years back and I remembered how comfortable they are. So, I had to get another. Also remembered that they weren't exactly true to size. If you get a pair - order a half size smaller than you normally wear or they're going to be too loose!!

I purchased these same Rocket Dog shoes (black) from DSW years ago and loved them so much, I wore them year round! These, however, are not quite the same. They still have the soft and comfortable fabric and look great on my feet, but the heel is a bit higher and there’s hardly any arch support. I was literally dragging the shoes as I walked in them and developed a corn on one of my baby toes. My original order I sized up to a 10, but exchanged them for my regular size 9.5. Still uncomfortable, but I decided not to return them. Now that my corn has finally healed, I'm wearing them with non-slip/grip Pilates socks (over my trouser socks) and can wear them every day now! I ordered another pair in brown. Also, I actually like that the heel is higher. I wore them while cleaning 2 inches of snow from the driveway and my socks never got wet. :-)

There was another review that advised sizing down and I am glad I took that advice. I am usually a size 9 in shoes and I got a size 8 and they fit just right - snug enough that they won't fall off when I am walking but not uncomfortable. No break in period with these at all, my feet are a little wide and my toes have room to wiggle. The weather has not been too cold yet so I don't know how warm they will be, but for now it is comfortable. If I wanted to wear these with sporty/crew or thick winter socks I am not sure that would work, but cute/thinner socks are fine. Unfortunately, a different review that said these shoes made them feel unstable on their feet was also true for me. I will wear these for short trips on flat ground only - no pumpkin patches in these shoes. If you are more of a heels person maybe this will not be an issue for you? I usually don't have problems with wedges so I was surprised how unsteady I felt. I am going to try the bob's fortress mentioned in that other review, too.

These are great for comfort and warmth and I started buying them quite a few years ago. For the last couple of years, I've had trouble getting them in black in my size. That's why when I came across them here and they had my size and color, I jumped on the chance and bought them. I'll probably buy another pair because I love them so much. The price being charged on Amazon is less than I've paid in the past so that is a plus. This is the kind of footwear that will afford you so much comfort that you'll feel like you can walk for days. They're stylish and extremely well made. Although the suede is high end, I spray mine before initial use with a suede protector. It keeps them new looking and clean in case you get caught in the rain or spill something. What can I say except just buy them! They're beautiful and heaven for feet.

These were too long and too wide. I wear clogs a lot, and had ordered these before so ordered them again because they are great to run around in during the winter. But the size 8 I ordered which I had ordered last time, this time was way too big. I bought insoles thinking that would help but they didn’t. Bummer

Love the height, and sizing of shoe. Ordered my usual size. The rubber divots all over the sole are adorbs. First pair I received was defective--the footbed lining was not attached at the toe box in one shoe. Ultimately I returned after receiving replacement. The execution of this product is almost there. The "fuzz" is polyester--meaning plastic--meaning your sweat wicks all over the fiber. A huge downside is not only is the "fuzzy" lining being plastic, but the footbed is literally a layer of the fuzz on top of the rubber chunk sole. No cushion or padding between. Just polyester textile on top of rubber. Not comfy. Its a cute kick-around shoe, but if Rocketdog splurged into a animal-based lining, WITH padding, these could be so much more.....
