The mounting bracket is weak, but serviceable. The true problem is that the plug comes out of the right side (facing the display) rather than out the back, so you'll have to account for that in your build.

My product arrived but it will be after the return period before I can build the stand for it. That said I opened it up to make sure it works. The box was fine but the top of the unit itself was dented meaning it was damaged in the packaging process. I can overlook that since it’ll be recessed in the stand I’m going to make. It’s not stated in the description or pictures from the seller but the opening at minimum is 34 1/4” x 16 1/2”. Make sure if you go the same route that you leave some space to vent on the top otherwise the safety feature will shut it off on you. There was a loose screw inside that I had to get out by removing the back panel. No big deal but I couldn’t find where it may have come from. Maybe an extra that fell in during the manufacturing process. I let it run for a few minutes and it seemed to kick out the heat required. The remote seem flimsy and you have to point it directly in the upper right hand corner of the fireplace to work. Other than that, it works fine. Overall it works as intended so the minor flaws I can easily overlook.

I like how many options there are, however the remote needs to be pretty close (even when we changed batteries). And the flames are pretty small, not like shown on site pictures.

This is great! Just to note. The interior frame dimensions are spot on, but the plug is on the right side, so if you sliding it into a tight frame like me you will need to make sure you add half and inch on width so the cord can slide in the frame. It really is great.
