Needed a safe space for my puppies to run when I need to be out of sight of them until our fence is finished. This is a great fix for that right now! It was bout 2.5/3 house with me and my hubby putting together. Sharp scissors and a few extra zip ties ! That’s it! This comes with everything you need to build it while ours isn’t perfect again this is just our temporary fix for the time being but its quality is very surprising considering the price! We had a good bit extra wire left also. We over used zip ties to make sure they wouldn’t get out of the sides and bottom them did buy bigger nails for it to go into ground with them it came with bc we have very rocky ground this was just easier for us. I bought this to house my ducks and geese. Putting it together was challenging. The frame was a piece of cake, but attaching and cutting the right lengths of wire was tough. Get yourself a buddy to help…doing it by myself took like 6 hours. I would say this is secure against a fox or a raccoon, but it was no match for my ambitious 40lb cattle dog. He broke in twice in the first four days and had a field day herding the birds. The first issue was the door. I installed the latch about halfway down and there was still enough give at the bottom of the door for him to push through, so I secured that with a chain and lock and haven’t had further issues. Today he snapped the wire off the back and slid under. The zip ties that come with it are skinny and not sturdy at all. I bought heavy duty ties and will be reinforcing the whole thing. Also note that predators could dig under the bottom. I placed paving stones the entire way around to discourage digging. I love the overall design, especially the tarp over the top, but plan for making it a little more secure after you assemble it. ... show more

    • Good cage, but some issues

This was bought as an extension for my chicken run. Everything arrived on time, packaging was decent. However some of the tubing was bent at the ends. Since they are interlocking, this meant that i had to reshape several tubes to get them to fit at all. Thankfully i took metal shop in high school and had the tools and know how to to do. for someone who didn't and was just planning on putting this together right away, it would not have worked out. Frame assembly was easy and went quickly. The instructions are only pictures, but the parts list has everything in millimeters, i am not opposed to the metric system, but it would have made way more sense to use centimeters. Putting the chicken wire on was a bit of a task. This is likely more due to the site where i built the cage. The instructions for this were not helpful at all. Since i was butting this up against an existing run, i didn't need to put the chicken wire on one end. This left me with extra, so i could afford to get it wrong. I also have concerns about how long the zip ties will last in the long run. But i have covered the top of the cage with a tarp, so that should help minimize sun exposure and get a little more life out of them. Seller reached out to make the issues right. ... show more

I needed a separate chicken run for my rooster amd this is perfect for him. It was super easy to set up. The frame took maybe 20 minutes. The chicken wire took me about an hour but I did that by myself so I'm sure it would go mich fast with 2 people. I would definitely recommend getting extra zip ties. I ended up buying heavy duty zip ties. Side Note: It is just chicken wire, so it will keep chickens in but won't keep most predators out. ... show more

And the door doesn't seal very well around the bottom . Size is great, only issue is the roof tarp gathers rain water. But over all it will do the job with some alterations.

This is honestly the best investment I’ve ever made for my chickens and will probably end up buying another. So worth it. Tubing is decent quality. Chicken wire could be better but it is fine. Took no longer than a few hours to assemble with the family and has been great for us!

Overall, the cage appears to be very simple and also quick to assemble for one person. My problem is that I cannot complete the assembly due to multiple joint pieces being bent at the wrong angle. This translates into the poles being sent at the wrong angle and being unable to connect to the next joint. These misalignments are severe enough to that you can’t just lightly bend them into place without damaging the part. The kit is also missing a bracket that is used to assemble the door. UPDATE: The seller contacted me almost immediately after I posted my review. They were very eager to resolve my problem for me. I was not available for several days, due to work, and they were patient and did everything they could to stay in contact with me in order to correct my issue. The seller asked for a detailed description of my problem, the components involved, and pictures. Once they had that information, they promptly mailed out replacements for my defective parts. They really turned a frustrating purchase into a positive one. I’m quite impressed. ... show more
