I bought this rod holder to try. It is priced lower than most, while provides much better stability when installed on tracks than many. It has 2 anchor bolts spaced ~4 inches apart as opposed to holders that mount with a single T-bolt. After a year, this is my my second purchase for the other side of my kayak. I am absolutely happy with the design, sturdiness, and its functionality. I keep the base attached, and remove the rod holder for transportation. Lock works well to secure it back in place. I hooked several sizeable catfish; this rod holder had no problem managing it (with loosened drag). Recommend.

Quality is good, works good and it is well designed. My only issue is the rod holders are large and bulky. Otherwise, it's a five star rod holder.

Used these for the first time. Installed onto Kayak pretty easily with screws. It holds poles and is able to swivel and lock. No gripes. Can be easily removed for the non-fishermen using the kayak.

These are a real pain to install. They seem like they are good quality but they don't include any directions for installing. The nuts are hard to hold when you have to put the screws in. I dropped them more than once luckily I was able to find them. What should've taken a few minutes to do took about 30 minutes to install.
