Reduces the humidity in my work room. Not too noisy. replaced a 25+ year old dehumidifier with this. Connected to existing flexible tubing (I installed years ago) and its pump sends it up ~ 6 feet vertically about 15-20 feet to a laundry room sink. Works GREAT!

Great dehumidifier. Pulls a lot of water out of the air to keep our basement air dry. Not silent, but not annoyingly loud. Especially since we’re upstairs and it’s down in the basement. Shuts off automatically when the reservoir is full. Does put out a good bit of heat, but I think all dehumidifiers do. ... show more

It removes just shy of 2 gallons every 24 hours from my basement. Only down side is the noise, which in my situation isn’t an issue.

I searched forever trying to find a good dehumidifier for our basement. I have had this one for two weeks and I really like it. When I plugged it in our basement humidity level was 72% after nine hours this machine had the humidity level down to 50% on auto dry. It is very easy to use. It has three modes: auto dry, which keeps the humidity level at 50%, a manual mode, where you can set the humidity level you prefer in increments of 5 down to 30% humidity, and a continuous mode, which it will operate continuously. It has three fan speeds auto, high, and low. I do not mind the noise level, I feel it is rather quiet for a dehumidifier. The water bucket is large and very easy to dump. In my home, it only needs the collection bucket drained once per day. You can attach a garden hose to allow for continuous drainage, I have not tried this option yet, but plan to in the future. I also selected the Hisense because it can operate in temperatures between 38- and 90-degrees F. Overall, I feel this dehumidifier is high quality and I am happy with my purchase. ... show more

My pump model came with no drain hose and it clearly should have. Per the instructions, I called Hisence customer support multiple times only to be told they could not help me because I bought it through Amazon.... I then went and purchased a 20 ft drain hose from Lowes and hooked it up. I then ran the unit for a couple weeks to find out it's collecting no moisture. After trouble shooting and not finding the problem, my conclution is that it is a faulty unit... But now I'm beyond the Amazon return window... I'm running into more and more short changed customer support when buying the product through Amazon... Frustrating! ... show more
