I got this as "yet another" replacement phone for my wife, who seems to like dropping phones :D Really, I just went looking for rugged Android phones, and after a little sifting of results, and a little further study, I decided to pull the trigger and give this a test. I was astounded by this phone. There are some medium-minor problems that I don't like: - the fingerprint reader just isn't all that great. Most of the time it forces me to use the unlock pattern after it fails too many times. I won't try the facial recognition, thanks. - there was some kind of accidental home-navigation problem going on for a while -- regardless of whether I used the default Android keyboard app or any 3rd-party. Eventually, I found that switching to Android's gesture system resolved that. SO, that's potentially kind of alarming, but once you get used to the gestures, it's alright. Now, on the positive side, - obviously, the audio on this phone is good. But it's SO GOOD that I wonder why we put up with anything less. This should be the standard. - BATTERY LIFE. The phone is, without a doubt, a fat phone. No one can argue that. But that's because the battery is large, and it gives it multiple days without having to plug in. Power has forever been a problem with Androids, and this sacrifice is worth it. - Rugged! A key selling point to be sure, and I'll be honest: I haven't tested this! But if she winds up dropping the phone, I'll come back with an update. ... show more

This phone works fine and does have the best speaker on the market and that is why I bought it. Also, It has the longest lasting battery of any phone I've ever had. Saying that, I will say it is extremely heavy. I had to buy a holster and wear it on my hip becaue it over-weighs my shirt pocket.

First off the sound was awesome. It sounded like a mini boom box. Second I was looking forward to the hardiness of the phone cause I'm in construction. Now lastly what I can't understand is in these modern times why would a descent well made phone not work on the 3 major carriers around? This phone DOES NOT WORK on AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. What the hell were they thinking. And on top of that I returned it the same day, in Amazon is refusing my return. I'm still trying to get my $134 back and it's already been two and a half weeks. I don't know about anybody else but $134 is a lot of money for me and I don't have a phone or the money. So that is my review of the phone and I'm doing a separate review for my return not being accepted cuz it was in the same box the same stuff that was in there I returned it and they're not letting me have my money back. Visually is as described. But the low tech in this device cause it to glitch often while listening to music I get interrupted often and have to restart .probably meant to report your bank login info to the seller .speaker is nice and loud as advertised wifi distance about half of any actual phone I've had. Camera is very subpar I don't belive the claimed mp. I like that the screen saver comes installed but mine has a small bubble ... show more
