I like its design very much, it's easy to clean the dust on the shell, it doesn't require me to connect an extra drainage duct during the cooling process, if I connect a water pipe it can become a very powerful dehumidifier. My central air conditioner broke down, and I didn't want to spend expensive repair fees, so I bought this portable air conditioner and installed it in my master bedroom. It has a very fast cooling efficiency and can quickly make my room feel cool. When I go to bed at night, I can press the silent mode, it will automatically minimize the noise, there is still a little sound but it is within an acceptable range. I usually just turn it on for a few hours and then turn it off when I wake up from the cold. It is worth mentioning that it also has a timer function, you can set the time, it is easy to install, you can easily do it yourself without asking someone to install it! The media could not be loaded. This Hisense 8000 BTU portable air conditioner has been a total game-changer for our room. It genuinely works incredibly well, keeping things cool even with this brutal heatwave going on. What really stands out is how smart the window setup is with different pieces and adjustment to fit literally any window. You can tell they actually put thought into making it easy to use. And I love that the exhaust tube tucks right back into the AC unit itself - no more dealing with those clunky two-piece tubes like on other models I've had. To add on top of all the features I like - I can control this from my phone!! Honestly, this unit has been a lifesaver with the recent high temperatures. This is a long review, but if you’ve had issues with portable units in the past—too loud, uneven cooling, bulky—this might be exactly what you’re looking for. I live in a 500-sq-ft studio in a 100-year-old historical landmark building where window units aren’t allowed, so a portable AC is my only option. Even though this model is rated for 350 sq ft, it cools the entire place—bathroom and all—without breaking a sweat. It doesn’t blast freezing air at the vents like some units, but the whole room stays the same temperature from one end to the other. That kind of even cooling reminds me more of a heat pump than a typical portable AC. I haven’t had to drain any condensation, either. As for operation—it’s virtually silent. No rattles, no thumps, no loud startup sounds, no hurricane-level Arctic blast of air right at the unit—just a gentle fan. What really blew my mind? There’s a button on the remote labeled “Quiet.” I honestly don’t know how it could be any quieter without turning off completely. I've had 2 now in less than a month the first one the customer service was no help the unit didnt do anything but run the fan for 20 seconds and shut off... the second doesnt seem to reach the set temp and shut off...I feel like the manufacturer should do better at a over $400 price tag going to reach out to Amazon again about a possible replacement or my money back ... show more

I’ve never seen one that looks this sleek and modern while still delivering such strong performance. It’s slim with a subtle curve around the waist line, tall but doesn’t take up much floor space. I’m using it in the room above the garage, which always gets unbearably hot. Since I have horizontal sliding windows, a traditional window AC wasn’t an option, so this was the perfect solution. I was honestly surprised by how quiet it is—much quieter than my old portable unit—and it even has a better energy efficiency rating. The tall design helps it circulate cool air throughout the room more effectively. Amazing design, it is basically a fat/tall tower fan, imposing looking but sleek overall. It is very quiet, cools nicely. The included remote needs to be aimed well at the unit to be recognized, but who cares -- it has Matter integration (works with Home Assistant)!
