I've been the 30x and 5x Hiseeu cameras for 5 years. They've been semi-reliable. When they work, they work. When they don't, they don't. Some have lasted 3 or 4 years. Some 3 or 4 months. The 30x has functioned and lasted better than the 5x, but it's more expensive. What caused me to change my review was when Hiseeu recently came in and removed all my camera passwords on a firmware update without notifying me or asking my permission on equipment I own. Now, the cameras cannot be password locked. The company gave me some canned response that the cameras now auto-generate a password. I told told them I'm not taking your word for it, prove it. Also, they were missing the point. I didn't want a company 8k miles away controlling my passwords since that has such a stellar track record and wanted to know how to legacy back on the firmware. I also told them that if they didn't get this sorted, I would update my review. They didn't respond after that as if to say, "We really don't care". Now I'm wondering if the company name Hiseeu (I See You) is referring to someone illegally on my property or me. Just something to consider when purchasing Hiseeu products. I own 3 of these cameras and they work flawlessly. I use them to monitor wildlife over 3/4 mile away. They also take great night shots. The picture of the buck at night is over 400 yards away. The herd of deer are about a half mile away. The cameras will auto focus on there own, and also come with both visual and audio alarms you can turn on and off. If you live in an area where long distance viewing would come in handy these are the ticket. ... show more

This camera has worked well for me. The optical zoom (versus a digital zoom) is nice and I've been able to set it up so that it is focused on my cul-de-sac and I get a great picture of any car or person that comes through (see pic). I can read license plates during the day, but not at night. The pictures show an unzoomed view and then a zoomed in view of my cul-de-sac. I like the PTZ feature that allows me to see around my front yard. I paired it with my Hiseeu wireless NVR and had no problem adding it to the system. The antenna that came with the camera did not get a good signal to the NVR so I added the antenna extension/booster (see pic) to get the antenna into the attic space and was able to establish a reliable signal. The antenna extension was about $10 on Amazon. It is set up about 40 feet from the NVR receiver with 2 walls between them. The pics of my TV screen are not representative of the true quality of the camera. The camera produces a good clear image, but don't expect 4k clarity from a 3mp camera. ... show more

While this is still a 2k camera, the optical zoom is real. It does not pixelize and distort like the electronic zooms. No, the camera is not cheap but you get what you pay for. It will be interesting to see how it does through the winter in very harsh temps, but so far very pleased with the pic quality both day and night. Very powerful IR projector. ... show more

This product is a scam. PTZ functionality is dead—no tracking, no movement, no response. Zoom turns into pixelated trash, motion detection is unreliable, and advertised features don’t work. I bought five cameras based on specs that were flat-out misleading. Local storage is crippled, and support is spotty at best, maybe due to time zones, but getting help is like yelling into a walkie-talkie with no batteries. I want a full refund or replacement. This system fails at every level. Pics look good, but as soon as you zoom, my first cell phone pics in 1999 (last century) ... show more
