This is an excellent system. I went for the 8 camera 4K version as I was upgrading an old camera system (different brand) which was much lower quality and only had 4 cameras. Installation was a breeze as broadly I was doubling up at each of the 4 current locations and could split the power supply (Standard power supply is 12V). The image quality and range/viewing field is brilliant, including night vision. I had a lot of issues with wireless connectivity with the old system, cant say the same for this system, I did pair all the cameras before installing at the locations around the house. They all connected flawlessly and to date are rock solid back to the NVR unit (even the ones with a lower signal strength). I spent a little time locating and connecting the NVR to a viewing screen (HD TV), the options on set up allow you to output a lower resolution image to the screen in case its not 4K capable...the only drawback to this is the images on the screen are not at 4K, I may fix this later but the image is not terrible in 1080P. The set up is real simple and very clear on all of the options the software is actually very good and you can set up each channel/camera for every detection and viewing option, including recording and sending notifications to the App. The Eseecloud app is really good (on an IPHONE) but the notifications can get a bit irritating as the whole system is very good at detecting movement, you do need to persevere on camera adjustments on the NVR to fine tune sensitivity for each channel (or disable/certain times etc..)....But the remote viewing and the app capabilities are very good. Note you have to have an internet connection to the NVR unit for the app to work. I preferred a wired connection and ended up locating one of our Mesh system modules next to the NVR and using the LAN port on this, otherwise you have to set up the wireless connection on the NVR box. I believe this needs a dedicated 2.4ghz wireless connection but I never bothered with that so cant comment. Overall I would highly recommend this system as excellent and it was a pretty good price as well

First off this is a okay system, easy to setup plug and play, video seems good most of the time, the things I don't like about it is 1. Playback takes to long and you can't speed it up on the app unless there's a way I don't know. 2. It doesn't always keep recording even though its set on recording all the time. 3. The app sucks 90% of the time. 4. Night vision isn't all that great and color night vision doesn't seem to work no matter what its set on. Would I buy this unit again probably not.

** 2nd UPDATE: Now almost a year into this and all 6 cameras have begun to fail. The NVR only records when it is in the mood, the cameras go on and off sporadically, they all but stop regularly, when a person is walking in the driveway, that is when the camera decides to stop working. Once the person is gone, the camera starts back up. ? This whole system is garbage. *UPDATE: 2 months of the system working pretty well (crisp pictures - choppy and questionable recordings/missing video, not recording when someone is obviously in front of camera??? Happens a LOT) one of the 4 cameras failed. Completely. No way to fix. Not a good look for this product or manufacturer. 2 months people. One camera down, wondering how long before the next one of the 3 left will go. A noticeable drawback (on mine at least) from straight out of the box is a very audible click at various intervals emanating from the hard drive. Can be heard over ambient room noise as well, such as air conditioner, people talking, etc. The system appears to be working well except losing one of the 4 cameras after only 2 months? The camera was simply mounted on a protected wall and simply working then one day, {{{POOF!}}} gone! Admittedly the pictures are super clear, super sharp. It easily set up and connected to my WI-FI and I was also able to get it on my phone. Simple. All the cables are long enough and all the hardware is there. Overall, this is an decent system but if a camera fails that fast and a hard drive that chirps loud enough to alert the dog, I would pass on this brand.

This is a 16 channel nvr. It is plug and play as soon as I plugged it in to my network it found and connected the cameras that were already on. You can hook up wired to the network cameras, the cameras that come with it are good they do not have a rj45 connector an do not support a micro sd card if the nvr goes down you are out of luck. The live view is somewhat fuzzy when the cameras are connected directly to the nvr wifi but image is smoth. I'm going to try to direct wire a few cameras to the network and that should help. This supports wifi relay you can use one of the cameras as a repeater to reach a camera farther away, works good I have one camera over 500 feet from nvr but only 200 ft from another camera. Unit is small size the hdd makes some noise when writing but nothing out of the normal. Overall a good product. If you have dual camera cameras they show up as two separate cameras not a split screen this is very nice.

Had ordered one and was damaged in the box before shipping , not from this company , returned it. Purchased this one , installed a camera to try out working great, will install others outside tomorrow or soon. Shows a connection to phone but the only way is with the cloud, another 50 bucks a month not worth it although that was one reason I purchased this one they don’t say you need the CLOUD for it to work with phone

The app used to video the cameras is kinda slow. Even slower when their is a video ads blocking/keeping me from viewing the cameras if I'm in a hurry to check them.
