I've had a painful knee for 30 years. And have tried perhaps 9 or 10 different knee braces over the past 20. Some were better than others, but this one is absolutely the best I've ever used. It works so well my knee has actually healed almost all the way, by having less strain due to this brace. It also warms the whole joint, which definitely helps the healing. I can wear it all day, and I forget it's on. I sleep with it on often enough. Get it. What’s it worth to get rid of the pain? I use cut pieces of tube bandage under it, so it doesn’t get grungy when wearing it for days. Cut it 4 inches longer than the brace, and roll the ends over it. See picture. Works really well like this. They have different widths of tubes, so you may have to try a few to get it right. Amazon has many different brands. Search for "Cotton Stockinette" or "tubular bandage." The letter, B, C, D, E…is the width. I buy a roll and cut it into 18" pieces and It's really nice like that. I’m an average man and use D or E. Just wash the tube bandage piece in the washer. I cut up about 12-15 at a time, and toss them after maybe 4 washes. That tells you how long I’ve been wearing this, how often. Now I can go 2-3 weeks without it, because my knee has mostly healed, for the first time in 30 years! Thanks to this fantastic brace. Congratulations to the team that did this! I'd give the support of this brace 4-5 stars, but comfort is the problem. There are SIX straps that you have to adjust each and every time you put this brace on while also holding it in place. Other knee braces I've had in the past had a comfort sleeve attached so that you slide the brace into place before tightening it to fit. This brace has no sleeve so I have the rough edges of the Velcro straps rubbing my skin with every movement. The brace is supportive and seems to stay in place, so it's not all bad, but I'll definitely be ready to be done wearing this brace when my knee heals. ... show more
