I recently used an Aircast boot after an foot injury, and overall it made recovery considerably easier than a standard rigid cast. The adjustable air-cell compression and cushioning gave me a supportive, stabilized fit — swelling went down faster, and I could gradually bear weight without feeling like my ankle would twist or give out. The boot felt sturdier than a soft brace but more adjustable and breathable than a traditional cast.

Excellent quality. Very comfortable. The straps thread through much better than other boots I have had. I wear women’s size 10.5. I bought size large which works well, since I wanted my surgical big toe well protected. Otherwise Medium would have worked better. I like that the strap around the ankle threads through an eyelet slit in plastic support. The air support is helpful as well and works. I would definitely recommend. I had plantar fibroma removed and fusion of great toe. Boot would work with either foot.

I fractured my foot a few months back and the orthopedic recommended a Cam Walker boot for me. I purchased 2 and ended up keeping this one. It’s adds a lot of support and eases the pain when walking. The fit is a little challenging, I wear an 8.5 shoe, the small is to small and the medium is a bit big but I’m making it work. It’s very good quality and the air pump adds extra ankle support which is great. It is definitely heavier than I would like but it’s sturdy. It has a rocking bottom to mimic a regular foot step but it takes some getting used too. Overall good boot for an ankle or foot injury.

I hurt my right ankle badly last month. Severe sprain and a small bone fracture that I’m still recovering from. The first boot that I tried was a United Ortho. That boot caused more bruising than the original sprain so I needed something better. This boot only had about 50 reviews compared to thousands for the United Ortho but the general boot shape looked promising. I also liked that my foot size was in the middle of their large range vs at the border. So I took a chance and it had been perfect for my needs. The bruises caused by the United Ortho are almost healed and it is far more comfortable than what Kaiser gave me.
