Easy enough to assemble, but you’ll want some wolf glue for the little buttons that cover the drill holes. I added seat cushions and they’re quite comfortable. Great counter height too!

I got this for my bathroom to use during Beatty sessions. ;-) It is very well made. Solid wood with a creamy white flat finish with slight distressing. Goes great with my coastal theme. Only gave it 4 stars because I couldn’t assemble it myself…. Dad had to come to the rescue! I would suggest pre drilled starter holes for the leg rungs, then I feel I could have done it myself. The stool is really nice and I am super happy with this purchase and would buy more in the future. ... show more

Received these today and it took me less than 10 minutes to assemble each one. They come with the hardware, wood buttons and an Allen wrench. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver and a rubber mallet to complete the assembly. The rubber mallet for popping in the wood buttons that fill in the carriage bolt holes. I didn't have any issues with assembly. They predrilled the braces but they do not predrill the bottom of the seat where the legs attach. Just simply line it up centering it on all sides and screw them in. Pretty simple really. They are cute and they match the Hillsdale pub table I purchased a few weeks ago. The sea white color is a perfect match to the sea white on the table base. They seem pretty sturdy after assembling but definitely not worth $45.00 a piece, in my opinion. However, they will work to give seating to the table when I use it for kitchen prep. Overall, I am happy with the look and function of them. Time will tell how long they hold up to use. ... show more

I got these thinking that the wide and curved shape of the top would make them comfortable to sit on. NOPE. These are HARD on your bottom! I'm comfortable sitting on them for about 5 minutes and then I have to start shifting my weight. I got new ones with padding on top and just use these as extras now. I mean, it's not like they didn't tell me they were solid wood, but I underestimated how hard they would feel when sitting! ... show more
