Beautiful, rich look, soft. Love the scrollwork. Sturdy, love the swivel. Perfect height for my island bar and tuck under for the most part. Island bar is a 12” overhang.

Chairs are beautiful and heavy. Easy to put together. Ordered 4. 2 were ok. The other 2....not so much. One had missing parts. Took a week to get them. That was fine. One had a foot rest that broke off after a week of owning it. Customer service Hillsdale was terrible. Not helpful at all. Told us to send back for a refund or replacement. (after they told me there were none available to ship out) And this after explaining that we no longer had the box and were 2 hours from a UPS drop off site. Not very happy they refused to work with me and just send me a new one. ... show more

Not much assembly needed, Just screw the bottom to the seat-slightly awkward because you cannot see what you’re doing but once you get 2 done, the last 2 are simple. 4 screws per stool is all. One box arrived pretty beat up but stool was well protected by packaging. These are very attractive. They are heavy & of substantial size. Makes them very comfortable but could overpower room so be sure to check measurements. Well constructed. Wish I had the choice of seat covers because brown would not have been my first choice but still like these. Attractive, sturdy, & substantial. Style fits my decor. ... show more
