Just the styling and color combination we were looking for to complete our kitchen reno!! They fit perfectly under our new island and store perfectly out of the way. Also, super easy to assemble with no hiccups. The only small complaint I have is the low back is too far from the legs to realistically lean back into without feeling like you are going to fall backwards. But otherwise they are extremely comfy. We also had to wait for these to come back in stock...so glad we did as I wasn't able to find alternatives that fit the look I was going for or within our budget. ... show more

I noticed a few dents in the first piece I pulled out of the box, so I continued opening and checking the other two stools I purchased. I figured there was just a defect with the first, but all three stools had dents/gouges in the wood! I emailed pictures to the support address in the boxes, and the company said these are purposeful as part of the distressed look. Their response: “These are not defects, this is the design of the product. If you do not like the distressing design, please return to the retailer as this is how the chair is supposed to look and any replacement parts will have the same design.” Distressing is one thing. This is something else. I expected the paint to look distressed. I did not expect dents, and this is not clear from the product photos. Also, the paint isn’t even distressed. It just looks like the paint needs another coat in places. The whole thing looks bizarre to me, but maybe you will like it. I did not finish putting these together, so I can’t comment on comfort or sturdiness. But I wanted other to have pictures of these dents that are all over the stools so you can make an informed choice. ... show more

Don't believe the setup time. Pieces are poorly marked. I've been using the chair now for awhile and love the height and sturdiness. However, the cross leg support broke in short order. Would have liked the leading edge of the cushion to be better padded.
