I really struggled on this purchase, but am very happy. These are answers to questions I had when shopping around: 1) Will these look cheap? NO! This is really quality outdoor furniture 2) Are these the same as the cheaper look-alikes? I don’t think so. These are excellently packaged and come with simple, easy-to-follow instructions. My husband assembled the set by himself. I heard no foul language. 3) Is the beige color on the Amazon website the same as the sand color on the Hillga website? I’m fairly certain YES. I ordered beige on Amazon and received boxes labeled sand. 4) Will the beige/sand look yellow, dingy or old fashioned? NO! The beige sand color looks great in the porch of my new, contemporary home, which is open-concept neutral with varying shades of beiges and grays. (I really struggled on this one and almost got the white. I’m glad I went for beige.) 5) Some comments mention that the fabric is scratchy. It is high-quality, weather and stain-resistant outdoor fabric, similar in texture to light canvas. I wouldn’t describe it as cuddly soft, but I sit on it wearing shorts and am quite comfy—no irritation whatsoever. 6) More about the color— it is neutral and beige, not off-white. It reminds me of khaki. It’s light tan, not yellow or gold. I have natural stone on my porch which is a blend of tans, browns and grays. This color looks great with those earthy tones. 7) Will it be comfortable for both me and my husband? I am an average weight at 5’5”. My husband is a robust 6’ tall man. The seats are amble size and cushions are sufficiently inviting for both of us. These are well constructed, sturdy, and great quality materials. I hope this helps! We were in need of a patio set and visited several stores in our area trying out various sets and just couldn't find any chairs that were comfortable to sit in. Normally we don't look on line for something like this because you can't test out the chairs for comfort. We decided to try online companies and didn't have any luck until we saw HILLGA on Amazon. When researching their Patio sets and reviewing their customer reviews we took a chance and chose the 6 piece set which included 2 chairs, 2 loveseats, table, 2 ottomans and all the cushions. What really caught our eye were the 6 inch cushions that looked comfy. After we placed our order it wasn't more than a week when it arrived. we received 2 boxes the first day and a second box the next day. I have to confess, there was a bit of anxiety stirring in my head as to how am I going to be able to put this all together. I started out with the chairs and laid all the parts on a tarp on the garage floor. Read the directions and started assembling them. Would you believe they went together without any problems. Everything fit perfectly. I continued to put all the rest of the set together and all of it went so smoothly, that even I couldn't believe it. All the instructions were easy to follow and accurate and I did it by myself. I am amazed. The entire set is extremely well made, the cushions are nice and thick and the fabric looks very durable. The seating comfort is fabulous. My Brother and sister in laws came over and sat on it and loved it. We surprised them with a 6 piece set as well. Needless to say, they were speechless. We had to contact HILLGA'S customer service on the second set we bought because there were issues with a delayed delivery. If you ever have to deal with MIA in customer service consider yourself a very fortunate person. Mia was excellent in resolving our issues. She was courteous, kind, professional and quick to respond to us and fixed all the issues we were having. I am a senior citizen and dealt with many retailers throughout the years and never have I experienced anything like Mia. This Company went way beyond our expectations to be sure that we were satisfied with their products and services. I adore this furniture set. It looks so great in my three season room!! There is a lot of assembly! I could only do half in a day. But once together, it’s so worth the effort. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking over the last month for a solid patio set that was weather resistant to all seasons and basically look good and accentuated newly built patio area. I also needed something that was durable as we are a very tall family. Hillga brand fit the bill. It arrived in some pieces so you have to be assemble it, the instructions I admit we’re not great and it took for me to actually look at a couple of videos online to be able to see how to set them up. I ordered a complete set loveseat, two chairs, two ottoman and the end table, and two extra sliding swivel individual chairs. The cushioning was dense and soft yet tough and adorable with a high din quality and ironically was slightly cheaper on Amazon than it was on the actual website. I also like it had multiple colors to choose from the wicker is strong. I admit they were a couple of small pieces that were a little, frayed from shipping. But the overall look in quality was solid. We definitely recommend for people who are 6 foot five and under and about 300 or less this is not really super heavy duty furniture despite what they describe in the description for size and weight but it definitely looks good and enhanced our patio area. I would also recommend buying straight from Amazon as opposed to the company website because it was cheaper and free shipping with prime. Value for money: Reasonable little cheaper on Amazon Size: Medium to large can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably Fit: Very comfortable roomy good for families and guests. Ease of assembly: Instructions weren’t great. Had to look up videos online a little DIY work. but worth it. Definitely not as nice as pictured, specifically the cushions squish a lot. They sent us more and we literally stuffed the back support with both cushions worth of stuffing to make them right. Customer service did respond well and take money off.
