I'm not sure what the other (2 right now) reviews are having an issue with - this bike came partially assembled, we just had to put on the handlebars, front tire, and pedals. It even came with a tool that worked for everything that needed tightening. Everything fit well! The only issue was that it came with a bell, and we weren't able to tighten it down. No big deal, we weren't expecting a bell anyway. Nothing a new screw or a little adhesive won't fix. The bike has gears that are easy to switch, the seat is cushioned, everything seems sturdy, and my 7-year old is already putting it through quite the stress test! Seems like it's going to hold up pretty well - This bike is actually better than I expected it would be, considering it's a lower price point than most bikes in this size/feature range. Very pleased we took a chance, as we'd never bought a bike sight-unseen before. ... show more

Overall, bike is well designed. Assembly was relatively simple, although instructions were confusing with several bikes presented together. Some mechanical ability probably required. Good tolerances and fit on the assembly. Only one small adjustment on the rear derailleur needed. The bike rides well. At 30 pounds, the bike is quick and agile. The Shimano gear system operates smoothly, and the 24 gears cover a wider range than a 21 speed. The handles are slightly small, so gloves are best used. The riding comfort is good, although frame is designed for performance with the rider leaned over more than on a bike with upright handlebars. The performance position matches my riding style better. All in all, this is a very good bike for a very good price. ... show more

    • Takes lot of work to assemble and tune. But after 6 month and 500m miles, it is a great bike!

This bike looks good. Attached a picture for you to see. However, it took me hours and hours to watch youtube videos and adjust the bike to make it work. 1. front fork is installed reversed. 2. front disk brake does not brake. rear disk brake keeps rubbing. The second problem took me hours to finally get to a riding condition. I would say the assembly from the factory did a horrible job and if you are a beginner, going to your local bike shop is a better choice. After a week and 100 miles, I raised the review to three stars. Both disk brakes are tuned three times and I finally got it right. Ride is smooth. Bike is light. I am happy. Update after a month After around 200 miles, right shifter indicators broke. The shifter does the job but the indicator stuck a 1. After 6 months and 500+ miles. I love this bike! Aside from the bike arriving with a torn brake cable, it is also totally not 60cm. I am 6'3'' and so I bought the 60cm size, however, the bike is measured at 60cm to the top of the seat holder, not to the top of the frame! very deceptive label and it doesn't fit me.

Really loved the features and overall quality of the bike. We got it for our 6 year old who wanted a gear driven bike. A great value for the money. The bike is holding up well so far and we couldn’t be happier about our purchase! I would definitely recommend this bike.

I mean, for the price I definitely recommend it. It’s not 5 star, for instance the seat is awful, but the frame, wheels, tires, derailleur, handlebars are all very good.
