  • Decent for price
This bike is good for the price and great colors. I got a different seat though.

  • Awesome Bike, Two Problems
I'll start with the positives. The bike came well packaged, no punctures in box and all parts accounted for, though one of the nuts to the reflector lights is fortunate to not have been lost during shipping. I found it in the bottom of the box. Not sure how it got loose, but that's a close call. I mention the shape of the box only because my wife purchased her bike on ebay last week and it came from FedEx with the wheel hanging out of the box and punctures all over the box. Hers was a Roadmaster...not sure that matters, but kudos to the shipper of my bike for getting it here without any damage. The color in the pictures don't do this bike justice! It's beautiful. The blue is what you'd expect but the orange is kind of like a satin fluorescent. This bike pops and I love it! The bike feels solid, went together pretty easy, but here comes the two negatives I have about it. First, the front tire wobbles like no other. I'm not a bike mechanic so I don't intend to get the little tool that tightens and loosens the spokes, but I saw a YouTube video that suggested the spokes needed adjusting. That sucks guys. I get the bike comes 85% assembled, but if you took the time to mount the rubber, take the time to verify it doesn't wobble before sending it my way. Second, the rear wheel came assembled, but no time taken to adjust the brakes? It's annoying adjusting these brakes, and it's the first pain in the...well it's the first source of aggravation for me from the bike. If you're a bike mechanic or know how to adjust out the wobble and also adjust your own disc brakes, you won't have a care in the world with this. It's a great bike for the money, and the comparable Roadmaster budget bike my wife got came in way worse shape with even all of the stickers on her bike having the top clear layer coming apart. Pretty sure her tires don't wobble though... One more thing, I tried finding out where HH Hiland is made. It's made in China. The seller refuses to answer my question publicly and no other buyers have answered, so I'll add it to my post. See attached photos. ... show more

  • Chain and gear on back tires broke off within first 5 miles
The seat is a racing saddle, so it’s not very comfortable. I switched it out for a comfort seat. And then the gears don’t shift very smoothly, so when I was going up my first big hill, and one of the gears wasn’t fully shifted, the entire gear mechanism broke off of the back tire. I took it to a bike shop to fix, and paid a decent amount to get it fixed, and now it’s fine. But I wouldn’t buy this bike again. ... show more

  • Cheap material parts no resistent enough
Some of thr parts broke so easy and gears speed are bad when changing, brakes low quality long very short time , seat too small and tires very tiny

  • Overall A Solid MTB
I am very impressed with the build quality of this bike considering the price. The blue and the orange also go so well together and look wayyyy better in person. The only things I would consider upgrading is the seat and possibly the pedals. The seat like most other reviews is definitely skinny and hurts your bum. And the pedals are a little small for my liking but still get the job done. ... show more

  • Good price, looks really nice, but iffy brakes, noisy, the worst seat.
The media could not be loaded. I was thrilled to get my mtb! Unpacking it was easy and assembly was simple, 5stars there. Bike is sharp! Looks very nice, but don't look too close, there are small nicks and scrapes all over. Not happy there. I totally see what people mean about the seat. It's not hard, but it's very small in width, so it feels like your sitting on a branch in a tree! Ouch there! Pedals... eh, ish, but really not bad. Will have to replace them eventually. Not a biggie. The one thing that bugs me the most, are the disc brakes! They have the ability to adjust properly and give you that smooth guiet ride, at least not on mine. I always hear the brakes rubbing and clicking, kinda like sticking a baseball card in the spokes when your a kid. I've adjusted the wheels & calipers in every possible combination, but just can't get rid of that noise! Who knows, maybe it's the bikes wheel bearings as well as the brakes. I would have given 4* but those darn brakes and noises!! Overall, a fair bike for the buck. Don't expect the quality of a $1000 or even $500 bike. Ya get whatcha pay for! ... show more

  • Features
I have had this for about a month. I bought it to ride on paved trails for exercise and it has worked great for that. I am about 240 lbs (109kg) and I was a bit worried that I was too heavy for it. I chose this bike because it has a front disc break, which is a must have for heavy people since we tend to bend rims. It held up great on the paved trails, but I found some mountain bike trails nearby and couldn't resist. It is going to the shop next week for a new freewheel hub. Also, get a new seat unless you are tiny. I almost sent it back after my first ride because the pain was no joke... but it was fixed with a $20 walkart seat. ... show more

  • Great bike for the money!!!!
I read reviews before buying this bike and I can say it's worth the money. I side stepped any chance of there being any loose parts or anything being assembled incorrectly and got it fully tuned, it was worth it. Plus as you can see I upgraded the seat and pedals. (Seat for comfort and pedals for style) ... show more
