I bought two Hiland bikes. Both bikes have turned out to be great bikes. One for my wife and one for me. For the money they have met our expectations. Yes you can get a better bike for more money but we are not at that riding level.

    • Battery died after 7 months of use
Good bike, perfect for our son to get to school and back. Unfortunately, the battery will not charge any more and I am having hard time finding a replacement. Contacted the seller but have not heard from them yet. Update: the seller responded and after some remote troubleshooting sent a battery replacement. Apparently it had to be custom built since they don't make that model anymore. I am very impressed. My son is enjoying his bike again. ... show more

The range of this bike is nowhere near what is promised. You will get maybe 8 or so miles from a single charge, which takes 4 to 5 hours. I emailed Hiland regarding this and received no support from customer service rep Kevin on this so ordered a spare battery from their website which is yet to arrive (after 3 weeks). More back and forth with rep Bruce and more excuses. I will be requesting a refund from my bank on that in the morning. Long story short, just don’t purchase this bike. Update-several months in and I barely get 5 miles on a single charge. Not a bit of support from the manufacturer either in resolving this.
