This is my very first road bike. It was a much needed upgrade from the MTB I was riding. Assembly is easy if you have any mechanic skills (if not just watch YouTube). I wasn't sure I wanted to be a cycler so I got this "cheaper" option and I have been more than impressed with it's function. This is an excellent value for what you get. Easy to assemble good bike with all the tools provided. I made the mistake of ordering flat wrenches without opening everything in the box after it arrived. Took less than 30 minutes to assemble everything. I opted for the medium bike as I am 5'5", still seems a bit large for me but not by much. Rides great and has a good frame for my first road bike. My main issue is where the gear shifters are mounted as opposed to where the brakes are. The shifters are towards the center of the handle bars and the brakes are on the round end of the handle bars. I received a damaged front wheel of the bicycle most likely from shipping. The manufacturer replaced the bicycle immediately. That is customer service!

I really found this bike a good deal for the price. I liked that it came with 32C size tires, as wider is becoming the standard for more road bikes. It came well packaged and was relatively easy to put together. Some of the components weren’t that great, like the shifter and the rear derailer, but I wouldn’t expect to have all the high-end components on a bike at this price range. I find it nice that it Included rear rack threads so that if you wanted to put a back stand on it, it would be easy to do. Overall, the bike really looks nice and it’s pretty light I’d recommend getting this bike for city riding or even occasional road bike rides. ... show more

Ordered as a gift. Arrived reasonably quickly and was packaged well; no damage upon arrival. Unpacking was a bit of a task, but assembly was pretty straightforward. The instructions were a little unclear here and there but were generally easy to follow. Once it was assembled and adjusted, the first ride elicited lots of smiles. It was easy to ride, fit the recipient well, performed as it should, and provided plenty of enjoyment. It’s since been used for daily morning rides and has been well loved. It’s holding up to the use and doing great. Seems to be well made with quality parts. A couple minor gripes are that the seat is a bit uncomfortable and the shifter levers are a bit awkward. Otherwise, we’ve been very impressed by this bike. Price is more than fair. Highly recommended. ... show more

Gift for my wife her comments. Likes - I am 5.5 feet woman and the bicycle is perfect for my size. - It has a smooth ride and good breaks. - I put together the bicycle by myself and it was very easy because around 85% came already built. Dislikes - The location of the gear in the middle for me is a little weird. I am getting used to it now. - When I put the gears on the handles I made some scratches. - It would be nice to have a kickstand. Overall I do recommend the bicycle. ... show more
