This is the second hair removal devise of this type I have used. It does work but takes several treatments and it doesn’t completely remove everything but does slow down growth and reduces the hair. I’ve used this for over a week and can already tell it’s working, but for best results follow the o structures and schedule. I like the cooling, it helps so it doesn’t feel too hot in the skin and helps with pain. I like the glasses that it comes with, they are great. I also love that it has a cleaning base, which is easy to use and helps keep your devise clean. It uses UV light. Things I didn’t like: - It’s something hard to maneuver. The way you’re supposed to hold it makes some areas difficult to treat. And it doesn’t have great grip. - Heats up. After a while of using, if you’re doing a big area like legs it starts to get a bit hot. The problem is that it needs to vent but the air comes out so close to where you hold it. The other divise I won has a separate handle so I never had this problem, because the vents are in top not on the handle. Overall it’s a good product. I think you just need to get used to how it works and make sure not to cover there vents while using it so it won’t overheat that quickly. ... show more

    • A home hair removal treatment that actually does work!
Keeping hair off of my back & chest is something I've been working on most of my adult life. Just like shaving or depilatory lotions, this removal method/system requires regular use to keep up the desired condition. I'm older and my skin is getting thinner. My skin gets irritated by shaving & depilatory creams. I was pretty excited to get my hands on this device and give it an honest, focused effort. Well, everything I needed to do this hair abatement method correctly is included - even razors for shaving the treated area clean, which you must do before you use this treatment. Using the setting for 'body' I began the 'zapping process' across my chest and upper arms as best I could reach them. There are glasses included to protect my eyes from the brilliant flashing lamp tube inside the handpiece. Although this is not a cordless device, the cord is about 6' long, so I had no trouble placing the handpiece against my body without running out of cord. The handpiece is sort of large but is lightweight and actually fits in my hands just fine. When I got my wife to help me with applying the treatment to my back (I gave the protective glasses to her) she had no trouble getting a grip on the thing either. Something I didn't expect was how cool the face of this device gets against my skin. Seriously, it is quite cool - any heat that may be exuded by this device is negated by the cooling effect. I was expecting to feel some sensation of burning or pain but I'm happy to report that this process is not uncomfortable at all. Fast forward 20 days of using this device as directed and there is a very distinct reduction in hair and the appearance of what hair that is still growing is a lot thinner and lighter. Compare this treatment to shaving? Nope - this is a lot better on my skin, so far! I suppose the most attractive feature of this treatment is that I can do it when I have time...I'm not making an appointment, going out of my way and paying someone to do what I myself can accomplish - with some help from my wife, of course 😉 As for maintenance, the cleaning dock takes care of the 'business end' of this device. A sanitizer wipe takes care of cleaning everything else. Now this machine is also being used by my wife, too! She just started using it on her legs after seeing my good results. We have come to like this device a lot. Good results. Easy to use. Seemingly very safe. My two thumbs up...a very welcome addition to my grooming routine! ... show more

Wowza.. an all-inclusive set from start (razor shaving) to finish.. (self cleaning of device!) this has it all- even the instruction ‘novel’ to go with it! Plan on 8wk. commitment to complete a full cycle for optimum results- seeing notable progress at x3-4wks mark- for me hair seems lighter, sparse and downy type soft at x5wks into a full cycle! Device itself is surprisingly small with a stout round body! Similar to blowdryer nozzle vs. skinny electric razor.. Has nice ergonomic grip- not heavy or tiresome. Bc of quirky angles or impossible to reach places, I suggest use of buddy system for the most convenient and productive results. I won’t be redundant and repeat details listed. However, sellers video is so helpful to acclimate a user and insure full understanding. Also, read manual and follow steps including setting levels for specific body parts. Sure! device can be intimidating- but, doing these few things will bring confidence in using- its far easier than expected. Perks: cord is 6ft. long for ample wiggle room.. *device must plug into outlet while in use. Gift worthy box set is 100% labeled and so well organized- perf. for following steps + storage after.. Includes safety goggles- use these every time! (Only x1 set so if using with a buddy- goggles go to the “anesthetist” and a perf. hack for the “client” to use- is wear sleep mask over eyes to avoid damage! I included pic. of mask we use to help understand!) Device supports multiple users- all bc of its simple self cleaning process! Clean setting makes this “good as new” for everyone!
