This is a very good at home IPL hair removal device. I've been using it on my underarms and legs for about six weeks. For the first few weeks I used it every few days, but I'm down to using it once a week now. I'm amazed at how pain-free it is. No burning or stinging, even at the highest settings. And you can really feel the ice-cooling! It's pretty easy to use. It does have to be flush with the contour of the area you're treating, so areas like your shin bone can be a little tricky. There's am indicator light that tells you when it's ready to "zap". It comes with sunglasses, a little razor, and a storage bag. Use the sunglasses! The pulses of light are very bright. The "fast mode" is phenomenal for larger areas, like your legs. It makes such quick work of it. Most importantly, it worked for me. I very rarely need to shave my underarms or legs anymore. I do get some light growth and stray hairs now and then, but I've definitely seen a significant reduction. I do wish it was rechargeable instead of corded, but I honestly haven't had any trouble with the length of the cord. A great hair removal option!
