I bought these for homecoming (the theme is elves and fairies) and general use, and the cuff on the earing is plastic. you can't tighten it to the ear, so it falls off a lot. it comes with two of each earing, so you can only put them on one set of ears. super easy to put on and comfortable enough for all-day wear.
