  • Velvet cure
This helped cure my betta of velvet. I used this daily with daily 30-50% water changes for a week (adjusting the dose as needed based on how much water was left/taken out), in addition to separate aquarium salt baths for the fish. At first, I was worried it would be too strong since it has methylene blue and malachite green, but my fish, snail, and plant have all survived. My only gripe is that it’s a tiny bottle (see pic). Would recommend something else if you have a big-giant tank. ... show more

  • BabyFish is looking good!
Until I went "down the rabbit hole" while looking at betta keeping supplies, I didn't know my fish had fin rot. When I bought him several months ago, I paid $2, and he was the tiniest, most pathetic betta on the shelf. His fins were a mess, and I've felt like he was barely hanging on the entire time I've had him. I kept seeing fin rot in reviews and questions, so I looked it up and finally realized that's what was wrong with BabyFish. I bought this betta revive product, and he started looking better within 24 hours. We've finished our 7 days of treatment and water changes, and he's more active and prettier than ever. In a month, I will go through the process again, just to be certain that all of the fungus (and any other horrible disease) is gone for good. My only complaint is the little fish shaped bottle it comes in. I wish it came in an actual bottle like eye drops, and was sold in a larger quantity. BabyFish lives in a 1.5 gallon tank, and I had to buy a new bottle locally because 7 days of water changes is more than the 5 gallons the tiny bottle treats. ... show more

  • Idk how I feel
I feel like this product is small but super potent! I treated my beta with this product and he immediately flipped to his side! I panicked I thought had died! Maybe I misused it, I tried it again 2 days later and he did the same thing. I was desperate my fish was on his way out & I had no clue what to do. I did research and assumed my fish had swimmers bladder & found Epsom salt could help. I did a 2 day treatment or Epsom salt and he slowly came back to life! He is better than ever! Def try Epsom salt before this product, this should be a last result! I almost think it sent my fish into a state of shock with a single drop. ... show more

  • Not Enough
This medicine is best used for a quarantine tank since the dosing is for less than gallon of water. As someone who had to treat a betta in 3 gallon I blew through this fast.

  • This stuff is awesome! So
This stuff is awesome! So, I read all over the internet that dropsy was incurable and basically 99% fatal in Betta fish. And then I found this: http://nippyfish.net/2009/09/18/curing-dropsy-in-betta-fish/ A possible dropsy cure! Thanks to Amazon Prime shipping, this medication arrived promptly and it worked! The Method (for those with the same fish ailment): I had read all over that it was believed to be the cause of bacterial infections that caused the kidneys to begin to fail and pump fluid into the skin. So for the days prior while I anxiously awaited the medication to arrive, he was dosed in his original 5 gallon planted tank with API T. C. Tetracycline antibacterial medication as per the package directions (half packet for 5 gallons, second half 24 hours later, 25 percent water change 24 hours later (he was in his bath at this point), carbon filter back in, etc). I used a quart fish bowl from Petsmart ($5) as his quarantine tank as all of our sick tanks are for our bigger fish and would take too much Hikari to work. A gallon of drinking water from Walmart (88¢) was used to make measuring the salt easier and make changing the water a snap. Pre-measured into the gallon was API quick start tap water purifier with 1/2 tsp + 1/8 tsp of Epsom salt. For the second gallon I mixed after seeing some improvement, I switched back to a rounded 1/2 tsp of aquarium salt. And of course the Hikari revive (4 drops for the whole bowl). I changed 50% of his water ever other day, adding 2 drops of Hikari. I had an airstone in the tank turned off just in case I saw gasping but with the additional water (instead of the 16oz the post called for) and constant changes he never seemed to need it. He also has his sinking Betta log to hide in (he's not shy so he never used it) and his hammock. He spent 90% of the time resting on the hammock. ... show more

  • Put a little pep in their step
My sons two betas came back from a 3-week sabbatical looking somewhat unhealthy, and then very unhealthy a week or so later. After researching what the potential problem could be, I bought Beta Revive because it seems to cover a spectrum of ailments. Used it according to directions for 4ish days and now both fish are seemingly healthy and happy. They no longer lay on the bottom of the tank for hours on end. They look better, colors are better, eating well, happily swimming and excited to see us - all the things I assume a healthy beta is supposed to do. One thing - I did need multiple bottles to treat their 2.5gal tank. Doing the math, a 2.5gal tank needs 20 drops - there are about 45 drops in the bottle. We used 2 full bottles - full dosing 4 days, and about a half dose on day 5. One packet is perfect for the recommended 3 day treatment with 15-16 drops/day. I would definitely recommend this product. We bought extra to have on hand should we need it again. ... show more
