    • Surprisingly powerful, and the cooling plate actually works

This little fan packs a real punch. Even on the lowest setting, the airflow is solid, and at max speed it's almost too much for your face – in a good way. The cooling plate gets cold almost instantly (condensation-level cold), which feels great on your skin, even though it doesn't cool the air itself. I also love the small touches: you can turn the fan off immediately by holding the power button (no clicking through all the speeds), the digital display shows the wind level clearly, and the carabiner makes it easy to clip to a bag or belt loop. Battery life is solid too – I got around 8–9 hours on low. One minor thing to note: at speeds 1–3, it's actually pretty quiet. But once you crank it up to max, the noise becomes noticeable. That said, this is clearly designed for outdoor use – on a hot day or a busy commute, you won't really care about the sound. Only a problem if you're trying to use it in a quiet indoor space at full blast. Overall, if you want strong airflow and actual cooling in a compact package, this is a great pick. ... show more

We are going on a cruise later this summer, and I have several family members who are susceptible to heat or who complain about it. I’ve seen several “personal cooling device” options, but most looked bulky or offered something other than simple handheld functionality. This Aonesor seemed more compact, and the claimed 11,800 RPM motor could technically provide some serious airflow. When it arrived, I was really pleased with the size. It is just taller than palm-sized. Not only that, but it has a carabiner attached to the bottom, making it super convenient to latch onto a backpack or belt loop. This fan is actually portable. It has two multi-function buttons: one for on/off and speed up, and the other for engaging or disengaging the “cooling” feature and speed down. The “cooling” is actually a metal disc on the front that gets very cold thanks to a TEC refrigerant chip and the Peltier effect. The fan itself has five settings (1, 25, 50, 75, and 100). All of the speeds worked well to provide a nice breeze, with 100 almost being too much. Even at the lowest “1” speed, it moves an effective amount of air and does a great job of keeping me comfortable, even in Texas heat. At lower speeds, I didn’t really detect the “cooling” function doing much to the air, but at higher speeds and when held closer to my face, it was noticeably colder. Additionally, I found the smooth round surface instantly cooled me down when I placed it on my neck or face. Note, though, that the cooling disc only works while the fan is running. Overall, I’m super pleased with my decision and feel this is an exceptional value, especially when compared with other less effective or over-the-top expensive choices. We immediately recommended it to other members of our family who will be traveling with us, and they happily picked up a few of their own. ... show more

    • Loud, average cooling, and you can’t set it down

The “ice cooling” feels barely noticeable. At top speed it’s way too loud for office or bedroom. Battery life is a letdown – claimed up to 5 hours, but on medium speed it died after about two hours. Worse, you cannot stand it on a table; it’s hand‑hold only. The metallic finish looks nice, but the performance doesn’t match the price. ... show more

Here's a simple Pro's/CON's List: Pro's: (1.) Surprisingly this Little 5-Speed Fan with Peltier Cooling Chip works Great at giving you a little taste of refrigerated air. (2.) It Has a Large 3000mAh Battery that Charges Quickly Enough for it's Size. (3.) This Little Fan has a High Quality LCD shows that shows the fan speed and at any time if you want to see the battery level all you need to do is double click the power button quickly, it's also shows you a little snowflake emblem on the LCD when you click the right button to activate the Peltier cooling chip, which when activated will quickly start to cause the central stainless Hub of the fan to cool and frost over (See Pictures), which in turn will increase the coolness of the Air blowing across it, and surprisingly it seems to work great for what it is. (4.) The overall quality of the plastic housing is surprisingly solid, which is a definite plus, but I wouldn't want to drop it from very high. (5.) This little high-speed handheld fan is priced fairly, but it's at the top end of the fair price point currently, so for the Quality it isn't Bad. Con's: So far there aren't really any Con's, but I'll update my review later if anything changes. In Conclusion: I actually really do recommend this little personal handheld fan, it's pretty powerful with a high quality LCD display that shows everything that you need to know, and the Peltier Cooling Chip Works and functions great, and it surprisingly does help the fan to blow colder air when it's turned on, which is pretty neat. It's a little pricey for a little fan but it's fair considering how good the build is and how well the little fan works, so it gets 5 out of 5 Stars from me. From: Rick H. ... show more
