I bought these for my front speakers in my 1994 Toyota PU Ext. Cab DLX, and even though the holes from the old ones didn't quite match, by manipulating my dash pieces, (Both Sides), I got them in. I'm very happy with the sound, and they push air at higher volumes with no distortion. I paid $22 dollars, and price compared to money, I'm very pleased. These are built to last, not at all flimsy in any sense. Easy to get in and hook up to my trucks existing wiring. I'm sure the holes fit newer vehicles easier than my 1994. AMAZING sound quality and good bass for 4 inch speakers especially considering the price and so far they haven't blown and I always manage to blow my speakers within a week.

So far I'm impressed with these speakers. Bought a pair of these to replace a couple blown speakers in a vehicle I bought. They fit great, seem like good quality, and sound great compared to the pair of stock paper crap speakers that I havent replaced yet. They arent boomers but I was surprised that there was at least a little bit of mid range. They are 4" speakers so I figured they'd have a tin can sound. Not really the case. Might buy another pair of these eventually to replace the oem speakers I havent replaced yet even though it's just an old beater. ... show more

Bought them to replace a pair of Rockford Fosgate I had for years. More clarity, pumping 125 watts into them. Not much distortion compared to the rockford

The media could not be loaded. Good seller, product is just okay. This is an entry-level speaker, so don’t expect much. The bass is decent, but the mids and highs aren’t very good. Definitely not a replacement for tweeters. You might get better sound if you use a good equalizer.

I purchased these speakers for my Volvo 240 as a replacement for the factory speakers, but I found them lacking compared to the original ones. While the sound is clear at lower volumes, they don’t perform as well at higher levels. The factory speakers are noticeably louder, and these aftermarket ones start to distort around volume level 27, especially with any bass or higher frequencies. I kept one original speaker in and replaced the dead one with this model just to compare, and the difference in volume was pretty significant. The factory speaker is about twice as loud as this one. I have a factory amp connected to an aftermarket radio, and I double-checked all the connections to make sure that wasn’t the issue. If you're just looking for a budget speaker for basic audio needs, this could work, but if you care about sound quality, especially at higher volumes, I’d suggest looking into another brand. Maybe these preform better without an amp. Update installed these with same brand 5.5 they do sound good they are not as loud as the 5.5 but sound good all together and still noticeable problem cranked but I have the fade priortize the rear it helps the cracking at higher volume ... show more
