A level is a very simple yet effective tool, and I really wish whoever built my house had considered using one. This one is a very convenient size. It's big enough to see easily, but small enough to maneuver, so it's perfect for a wide variety small projects. I really like that it has the magnets to hold it in place for hands-free use when you have a surface that it can stick to. It is also very lightweight without feeling cheap. I have no concerns about the materials or structural integrity. The only reason I took a star away is because I believe that you can find similarly high quality levels of the same size for a slightly cheaper price point. Still, I'm glad I have this around the house. It is one of those tools that comes in handy more often than you might expect.

Great quality and accurate level for a very reasonable price. The one that I got is dead on comparing to an expensive level that I have from a home improvement store, but it costs significantly less. Good size for most needs - 16-inch is not too long to get into most spaces but also not too short to get a good measurement and visibility. Magnetic side is nice to have when you work with metal surfaces for some hands free operation. The level is made from aluminum which makes it light and rigid, and plastic covers on the sides (corners) are also good because if you drop it it will not bend like a fully metal level and will cushion the fall somewhat. The bubbles are easy to read. Overall, this level lives up to the "ValueMax" name since it provides good value and good accuracy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and I don't think you would be disappointed.

This is a very nice level. The center bubble has a window so you can have a top or side view. The magnets are very strong and keep the level in place / in storage with no issues. The rubber bumpers on the ends make it less likely for you to mar the surface that you're measuring. The ONLY thing I would add here is a ruler on the top edge. Even if the ruler was 'interrupted' by the center bubble window, it would be even a greater "value" if that ruler was part of this tool. Thus, only four stars out of five.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had a lot of success with this! The magnets are quite strong and hold well, it’s nice flush edges and the end caps are actually soft, it’s got 0, 90, and 45 degree bubbles so it’s quite versatile for a lot of projects! - the length is also nice because I can make sure to keep level over a longer area but still not too long to where I’m unable to fit in most spaces! - large bubbles make it super easy to read and maintain accurate readings - used it most recently to hang a projector shelf and even tapping and hitting on the metal flange it held itself solid and didn’t budge - totally recommend this one and would definitely get it again! 10/10

I like this level. It's well made and should last virtually forever, and it's a handy size, smaller and easier to stow than those giant carpenter levels and longer and more versatile that a torpedo level. This is long enough to lay on a course of bricks to be sure you're keeping a level surface (although probably not long enough for larger cinder blocks or landscape blocks) and yet you can still use it in reasonably tight spaces. The milled surfaces are nicely finished, and the magnets on the bottom are strong enough to hold it on a vertical surface - to be sure steel fence posts are vertical-upright, for example. The bubble tubes are strong and well-protected, and the bubble is clearly visible against the orange surrounding without jockeying around for a perfect sightline on it. At its decent price, this will be my backup level - I have one similar, but when I need it in the shop, it's far away in the house, and vice-versa. Now I'll be able to keep one on hand in both locations.

What a great level. I've used a pretty small one in the past, but this has a lot of options for leveling different dire tons and angles.. Large size, eady to read.
