We bought this so that our bathroom cabinet wouldn't be on display for anyone to see what was inside. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. The first time I installed this, I did not follow the instructions about using a spray bottle of water. I just stuck the film onto the glass after cleaning it and I ended up with a ton of bubbles. It was very easy to remove and try again. The second time it went on flawlessly and looks great! I didn't have a tool for smoothing it out, so I used a spatula from our kitchen and it was easy. I would highly recommend this for providing some privacy where needed.

Wow! What a difference this makes! I live in a busy townhouse complex and have a large floor to ceiling window at the front of my house. My three dogs bark at every person and dog that walks by, kids playing outside, delivery drivers and postal carriers, squirrels, leaves falling…you name it. This has saved our household’s sanity. I placed it on the bottom half of the window and it made a HUGE difference! It is not too opaque, so I can still open the window and let light in, and my parrots can still sit on their window perch on top to half of the window and enjoy watching the wild birds outside. Super easy application; like others said, make sure you use enough water/dish soap mixture. I just used an exacto knife to cut it to size and a credit card as a makeshift squeegee. I wish I had gotten this way sooner.

First of all, I really like the product itself. Feels durable and relatively "easy" to install. I bought this to use on a bedroom window. My window is close to other units and wanted a way to allow light to get in without being seen by peering eyes. This works perfectly in that sense. It allows a lot of natural light which I love. My only issue is with the "easy" I referenced earlier. The product install is pretty straightforward. First separate film from backing. This step was tedious getting a corner separated, but not hard. Measuring, cutting, placing on window was as expected, again, not hard. The reason I used quote is I did everything instructions and reviews said to do. I covered 3 windows but everyone one had a few bubbles. I don't know if it's just me but it feels like it would be close to impossible to put on without bubbles. That being said, the bubble are only visible at night. During the day it looks perfect. I would think twice if you were putting this in an area guests would see if that bothers you. I still use my blinds at night so I am not bothered by the bubbles. Plus, it's a trade off for paying a fraction of what it would cost if I hired someone to install.

This was the second attempt at buying a privacy cling film for our window - the first one was not wide enough for our standard size window and would have had an unsightly seam. This one was wide enough I instead cut it at the borders. It was simple to install, took less than 10 minutes. My install wasn’t perfect, some light damage in the corner. But it doesn’t restrict light very much but blocks the view entirely — great for us since we were adding more privacy to bathroom windows.
