Purchased this for a 7 night cruise. Shared a 180 sq. ft. cabin with our family of 4, including 4 year old & 2 year old. Adults slept on the queen bed, older child slept on pull out sofa bed & we set this up over a pack & play for our youngest. The cabin space was a bit tight but it fit & was an absolute life saver for room sharing. Naps & bed time were so smooth because of this. Truly blackout, super convenient compartments for a small fan, noise machine, monitor. Didn’t get too stuffy. Little one was able to rest well while the whole room didn’t need to shut down - we could have the tv on, talk, etc without disturbing her sleep. If she wanted some light to come through, we rolled up the little side vents. Overall a bit pricey but so, so worth it for uninterrupted sleep for all & for everyone else to keep on with activities while toddler could rest. We would not have slept or functioned as well without it. Hanging onto this for future trips or sleepovers even when we’re out of the pack & play stage to make into a cozy sleeping bag area. ... show more

We originally bought this because we were going camping and didn't want to wake up my son when climbing in/out of the tent. I was nervous he'd freak out once it was zipped up, but he didn't. It was hard for me to get passed the price tag especially for what seemed like an unnecessary luxury item, I've paid less for a family camping tent. Lets be honest these sleep tents ARE in fact luxury items, but we've come to the decision that some things are worth it. We have taken several trips with our son prior to one of these tents, we've used a SlumberPod and the Hiccapop has been our fav so far. The set up is slightly easier, the mesh monitor compartment is better (we experienced some viewing issues with our monitor with the slumberpod, but nothing too significant), and its very dark, MAYBE allows the slightest bit more light in than its competitor, but overall the price difference, and those two very small differences were enough for us to agree the Hiccapop was the better choice for our family. If you are room sharing/traveling/camping I would recommend this luxury item, it has worked out great for us and it has allowed us to wake up well rested. ... show more

This has worked great for blocking out light and helping my baby take longer naps. it also has good venting options and hasn't gotten stuffy in there (which I had been worried about). Was also easy to assemble. Haven't taken it down to travel with yet, but the travel bag it comes with seems like it will work well. Perhaps the only drawback was that it was a little bigger than we expected it to be, but it works really well and we're happy with it ... show more

GREAT PURCHASE! It is total blackout! The camera spot is less than desirable. There is a mesh piece in front of the camera so we ended up just just a stand we bought for when we travel and we place the hiccapop cover over the stand and pack n play. It fits over a 4Moms pack n play with no problem.
