It's really well built and I wish it fit the spot I intended it to be installed. It's quiet, and blows a good amount of air. I wanted to connect it to this old vent that the prior owners of my home put in the garage, but it's not a standard size, and I couldn't figure out a way to easily and aesthetically adapt it to fit this fan. However, if you're in need of a 6" exhaust fan, it works great.

What I like: I'm highly satisfied with this product! I have several fans for various needs around my home. This fan exceeds all the others I own, both in terms of how much air it moves, and its overall performance, in general. The pre-corded appliance makes this fan ready to use right out of the box. Thus, there's no need to hire an electrical technician or worry about dealing with household wiring, whatsoever; install it in an appropriate manner/location, plug it in, and turn it on. Done. The 308 CFM rating means this fan moves a lot of air! The unit definitely outshines all my other appliance-type fans. The operation is one of low vibration and relatively-low noise, considering how efficiently it moves air. I like the function of the damper mechanism. What I don't like: There's literally nothing I dislike about the product. I'd surely order this item again.

I liked this exhaust fan for my shop, it's a decent size and was easy to install. The plug and play power cord will plug into a standard 110 u.s. plug making wiring problems for some worry free. The multiple speeds are pretty nice nothing special but functional. The build of the fan, motor, and housing is okay it's certainly not a metal if that's what you expect. The airflow is really quite good for the size it'll move a good amount of air out fast for the size. If you want something to run silent this is not for you it's a little bit noisy particularly on high but, the noise varies with the speed as per expected. I found that some of the screws where loose which added to the noise after checking all the assembled screws and tightening them it helped some. I mounted mine high in my shop to pull out heat in n the summer, and dust from wood working even though I have a dust collection system some dust still moves around, I'm going to add a small house air filter over the intake. Bang for the buck this is a decent price and it's good quality, I'm happy to have it and hope it lasts a very long time.

This 6 inch exhaust fan is mighty. Clears out a 20 by 10 room with easy. It's not the quietest, but I wasn't aiming for quiet. I hoped for power and this HG Power fan delivers. Has a damper included as well, but you have to disable the damper if you use it in ceiling mount. Not sure why as it seemed to work well in any position but I opted to follow the directions.

The fan works great, and it has a fairly appreciable airflow, but the blades were off center, causing it to vibrate a lot. It's easy to fix, however, and the issue likely occurred in transit. The dampers on the back function well, but if you intend to mount this on anything but the ceiling, they may not stay closed. It would need a slightly stronger spring to fix it. As far as noise goes it is not a quiet fan, but it isn't absurdly loud. The attached cable is also pretty long, so you should be able to plug it into any outlet without being too constrained. If you do not have an outlet, you will need to swap out the cable for proper wires. That said, if you intend to use this for a project, the attached plug and switch are nice to have. Additionally, since the unit is shrouded, you can attach it to ducting.

The fan works as it should and is pre wired with an on and off switch and a 115 male plug. Installation was easy but it is LOUD. I wanted to use it to draw hot air from the wood stove in the den to a back bedroom but it is so noisy there will be no one sleeping when its on. I think I will use the fan as an exhaust fan out in my workshop and find a quit fan elsewhere.
