The bikes are great, but like everything I have some issues with it one of the batteries does not locked. one of those the foot pedal does not screw on correctly. After 30 days now neither of both batteries would lock in place. Also, one of the seats keeps going down.

The Heybike Ranger is very sturdy. Battery life is great! I've been out for hours and still haven't drained the battery, being mostly on throttle. Does great on roadways, sidewalks and most impressive, muddy trails, no sliding. Ranger does everything Heybike states it will do. Customer Support has been great about answering my questions. Assembly instructions for the Ranger 2.0 were scarce. The qr link sent me to a slightly different version. Some of the steps were omitted and had to figure them out myself or going to other youtube installation videos. My bike wouldn't fold until I contacted tech support. On this model you'll need to lift up the bracket that lock the pivot bracket. No where in any videos did it illustrate this. They have since rectified this by posting a video that addresses the issue I brought to their attention. Bike is well built and goes fast (28mph as specified). This model did not include a water bottle holder or any front basket. Customer support did a fantastic job of addressing my concerns. A human picked up when I called, and they were also very responsive with email communications. ... show more

Purchased this bike for my wife. It is a perfect size for her. The bike seems to be very well built. During shipping, the rear rack was significantly damaged where the bolt holes wouldn't align to the frame. This was a major disappointment since the rear light attaches to the rack and is needed to use the bike. I contacted customer support and they shipped a new rear rack within 24-hours. The rack they sent was black to go on a white bike. I was also disappointed in this since my wife wanted all white. I proposed a solution to customer service and they sent a saddle bag at no cost to us to cover the black rack. Great bike and customer service exercised common sense solutions. ... show more

We ordered two of these sweet HEY e-bikes. My husband is 6 foot and I am 5’3”. I put my seat on the lowest setting am Nd my husband raised his seat to fit his longer legs. We took them to the Oregon coast and rode them on the beach. Easy’ smooth ride! We have ridden them on bike trails around our city. One ride was 17 miles riding through parks, across bridges and bike trails. With the wide tires they ride well on beach and grass and pavement or gravel roads. We are both in our late 60’s now and we love them! Don’t let their size fool you! They really go! Our grandson rode mine at 28 mph. When I ride on 1 assist with gentle peddle about the slowest I can go is 11 mph. You can go slower without pedal assist. We got these bikes so the batteries are interchangeable, since my husband is heavier than I am, he would use more power than I do. The battery life is very good too. We did purchase larger seats tho. Due to our older bodies. Has good suspension on seat and front tire. Very happy customers. Would highly recommend. Just beware, they do go pretty fast. ... show more
