Okay everything isn't always perfect, as in the directions for assembly were a little unclear and could have used a few better pictures, but I was able to get it assembled properly using common sense. Once assembled, battery charged, this bike delivers as promised. I've nicknamed it "zippy" because guess what, it's zippy! Caveat, this is my first and only ebike, so I really have nothing to compare, however, a few friends have been on it and all agree with me. I also bought a golf bag bracket from a company call Divnick Golf. This bike allows me to zip around the golf course faster than with a golf cart. This bike folds and I can store it in the back of my mid-sized SUV. This bike is extremely sturdy and somewhat heavy. Overall it is very easy to use. Very happy with my HeyBike Ranger!

This is our first Ebikes and we are very impressed in the quality, power and longevity of the battery. The bike feels very solid and safe while going fast speeds. The brakes were a bit squeaky but perform very well. I did follow the heybike video on how to reduce some of the squeak and calibrate them. Our first ride we went almost 12 miles and I mostly used throttle only and the battery was still on all bars. I think for sure you could go over 30 miles on throttle only per charge. Also I was able to get bike on flat up to 29mph with pedal assist on 100% battery and gear 7. The suspension is perfect was able to bump up curbs and down with ease. No being used to bikes we did order different seats that are more comfortable. I spent a full day researching these bikes and at one point had 21 different bikes in my cart. These Rangers where selected because of the range, design, foldability, cost, and the reviews overall. Will highly recommend Heybike as a quality brand. A+++!!

Bought one to try out before buying a second. Their shipping dates are nowhere near accurate. If you need by a certain date I suggest ordering two weeks early. Other than that product seems to be as advertised. Very rugged and durable feeling however not the quietest bike by far. I will be buying another probably from a different supplier because of unreliable info.

I found the bike easy to assemble. The top end speed is 20mph, and this is plenty fast enough for us. My wife and I both have one. We ride around where we live locally often, and truck the bikes to another close city where we also like to ride in town, in parks, and around the lakes. The suspension makes for a comfortable ride. The Power assist works fine with the default settings. Once you get used to letting off the throttle slowly as you pedal to take over with pedaling, this makes for a smooth transition between full power assist and assist with pedaling. I like it has all the lights and blinkers, and a little horn, which make it safer when in traffic with cars. We ride about 25 miles typically, and battery has never gone under 50%. We have some mild hills in our rides, with a few high grades. The gears transition smoothly, and this helps in the grades.

I was so impressed with the one I bought, I bought another one for my wife. Came undamaged and packed well. Was easy to assembly. Took about an hour, and they provide you with all the tools. Would be nice to have a little tool bag to keep them in with the bike. No cheap stuff - everything seems well made with quality material. Motor is more than powerful enough and it is very intuitive to use. I use the pedal assist and it works well. It does a little too much work for my liking and not sure how to turn it down. So far have not done a long enough ride to were down the batteries. I tried to get the app to work - because I thought I could adjust the amount of assist with the app - but so far have not figured it out. Customer services was great - thought I was missing a part, but learned it was shipped separately.

We ordered two of these sweet HEY e-bikes. My husband is 6 foot and I am 5’3”. I put my seat on the lowest setting am Nd my husband raised his seat to fit his longer legs. We took them to the Oregon coast and rode them on the beach. Easy’ smooth ride! We have ridden them on bike trails around our city. One ride was 17 miles riding through parks, across bridges and bike trails. With the wide tires they ride well on beach and grass and pavement or gravel roads. We are both in our late 60’s now and we love them! Don’t let their size fool you! They really go! Our grandson rode mine at 28 mph. When I ride on 1 assist with gentle peddle about the slowest I can go is 11 mph. You can go slower without pedal assist. We got these bikes so the batteries are interchangeable, since my husband is heavier than I am, he would use more power than I do. The battery life is very good too. We did purchase larger seats tho. Due to our older bodies. Has good suspension on seat and front tire. Very happy customers. Would highly recommend. Just beware, they do go pretty fast.
