    • Impressive battery life and very fast and powerful.

This is our first Ebikes and we are very impressed in the quality, power and longevity of the battery. The bike feels very solid and safe while going fast speeds. The brakes were a bit squeaky but perform very well. I did follow the heybike video on how to reduce some of the squeak and calibrate them. Our first ride we went almost 12 miles and I mostly used throttle only and the battery was still on all bars. I think for sure you could go over 30 miles on throttle only per charge. Also I was able to get bike on flat up to 29mph with pedal assist on 100% battery and gear 7. The suspension is perfect was able to bump up curbs and down with ease. No being used to bikes we did order different seats that are more comfortable. I spent a full day researching these bikes and at one point had 21 different bikes in my cart. These Rangers where selected because of the range, design, foldability, cost, and the reviews overall. Will highly recommend Heybike as a quality brand. A+++!! ... show more

    • Love it so much, we had to buy another one right away!
We absolutely love our new Heybike Rangers...We bought one to try it out first. It arrived on time and was packaged VERY well. I was thankful it came almost fully assembled so putting the last few pieces on were pretty easy. My husband and I each took it for a spin and we loved it so much we decided to buy another one right away! (We actually put the order in the same day our first one arrived!!) We were surprised that the bikes would work so well for both of us. I am 5'5" and my husband is 6'3" - We thought we'd have to buy him a bigger bike but these bikes fit us both perfectly. The seats can be easily adjusted. We bought the bikes to ride around home and to bring with us on all our camping trips to the State and National Parks w biking trails. We love that they fold up so easily. They both fit in our RV garage for transport (one on each side). We just love that we can bring them along and can hit the trails wherever we go! We really like the 4" wheels. They really make a difference when you transition from highway to gravel or to the beach... you never miss a beat! We haven't need to call customer service for anything - everything came in perfect condition and works like a charm. We highly recommend these bikes... they are so well made and so much fun! ... show more

The bike is really good looking and easy to learn all the functions. It feels safe, sturdy, and it has the perfect amount of power. I mostly ride it on assist level 1 or 2. On hills, I’ve used level 3, which feels like great power. The weaknesses with this bike are around communication and errors in the manual about how to assemble the bike. The main thing I would like to see Heybike improve is to have a help phone line. Trying to solve problems by email has been complicated and sometimes frustrating. Bike arrived with a stripped left crank and i was worried I would have to ship it back which would have sucked but the seller quickly sent a replacement crank. Setup was relatively quick and easy. It would be really easy with 2ppl, it took me maybe an hour by myself. I bought this for my wife but i have take it out for about 20 miles of riding and it really rides great. Moving thru the various pedal assist levels is very easy and smooth. For the money I would say this is a great value. ... show more

We love our heybikes. There were a couple of parts damaged during shipping but contacted seller they were right on it and replaced the parts. Very helpful The bike rides great the pedal assist is awesome. The assembly is not bad but I had second one out together by bike shop which was nice. We are looking forward to lots of rides on the bike paths in our city. This a great price for the two bikes. Love that they fold up for storage. ... show more

    • Won't fold. Its welded or seriously stuck

Put it together no problem, but the bike won't fold at all. I'm an amateur mechanic, a reasonably strong guy, and know how quick-release mechanisms work. I'm almost ready to pound on it with a mallet. It's either seriously stuck, or accidentally welded. I messaged the seller, so we will see how they respond. Sadly, the folding quality was a key feature I needed in a bike. Rides nice around my parking lot at work, but need to fold it up to get it home. I'll change my review if this gets resolved somehow. ... show more
