This is my second one. I am not very handy and i assembled both myself, a little overwhelming, but very doable and simple once you get going. Delivery was much faster than expected. I love this bike, looks slick, and has never died on me. I have used it for full days at events (7am - 10pm; charged nightly). I have gone to different cities and back, upwards of 40+ miles on one charge. Only possible complaint is that the seat could come down a little further. I am 5'4 and i cant stand flat footed while on the seat. (I can still touch the ground though and i do have a gel seat accessory probably adding a little more height; there is also probably a work around to lower it more if really needed) ... show more

This is My 90 day update. My Heybike Mars is still exceeding my expectations and I am still having a lot of fun ebiking with my dog. Being vertically challenged at 5'4" tall one adjustment I have been able to make is raising the seat post 2" higher now that I have become more accustomed to starting off, when stopped and riding. I began riding at the lowest possible position on the seat post. This is a wonderful investment for my mental and physical health. Also, sliding this ebike up and down the stairs of my second floor apartment has become much easier and safer. Very pleased and would recommend a purchase and now that Heybike has come out with their new Mars 2.0, 750w ebike is even more of an incentive. It is apparent that Heybike is dedicated to innovation and customer satisfaction. I am 68 years old and have not ridden a bicycle since I was in my early twenties. I have been riding my new Heybike Mars ebike for the past 4 days and it is great fun. I feel like a young kid again riding around and exploring the great outdoors with my dog, I live in the Central California Mountains. Most of my riding is along urban roads and a little trail riding. We have a lot of very steep paved hills in this area and this ebike with the PAS helps me to get right up them and the throttle gives me the option to rest when I want. This Heybike Mars ebike is a great addition to my daily cardio workout and having my dog running next to me or having her laying down behind me safely secured in her cargo basket is an additional joy and time together outside. I have the option to make my ride as easy or hard as I want it to be. I purchased this Heybike Mars ebike from Amazon and with this purchase I also ordered the front cargo basket which was included with my purchase of the bike. The rear modified cargo basket you see in the photo was ordered from the Radio Flyer Company. This is the perfect size cargo basket for my dog Tasha (30lbs) to safely lay down in when we ride. Being able to fold this 66 lbs ebike in half makes wheeling it upstairs to my second floor apartment much easier and store inside. The ebike was 90% pre-assembled and it took me maybe an hour to assemble the rest. I am sure this could be done sooner but I took my time. I am 5’4” tall and this ebike, like most, for riders like me does ride a bit tall. I am able to sit on the seat with my toes on the ground when I am stopped. I am getting used to getting on and off the bike and using the PAS 1 mode makes my take off much easier. I really have no complaints with this Heybike Mars ebike. It has in a lot of ways exceeded my expectations. The Heybike customer service has been wonderful. Anytime I have had a question about the ebike within a few days I have received a response and answer. Happy with the investment I have made and with the Heybike company. This product as well as Heybike Support make this an unbelievable E-Bike to buy in this price range. It's a very nice riding bike with front suspension and a spring loaded holding tube for the seat. The nice 20" by 4" tires give you the security you want to feel like so you can ride anywhere. Excellent system to remove the battery as well as a usb port to charge your phone while your resting. Here are some of the Pro's: 1: 8 different mode settings (Default 0-3). Can also set 1-3, 0-5, 1-5, 0-7, 1-7, 0-9, 1-9. Sounds like gibberish but you'll understand once you get one of these 2: Each of the settings you can adjust the power. Ex Mode 1=30%, 2=75%, 3=99% Why this is great. My wife and i both have E=Bikes and she has modes 0-3. I set mine to 1-5 so that my 1 goes 6 mph, my 2=her 1, my 3=her 2, my 4 is 4% faster than her 3 (so I can take breaks peddling) and my 5=her 3. So you can adjust your power for each mode so that you can peddle side by side with friends. 3. 500 watt motor with 48V 12.5AH motor. Power plus good lasting battery 4. Fold-able bike (yes it is 65lbs so a bit heavy but still doable) 5. Solid Frame and great front suspension 6. Fat tires (boy do I love them) 7. Easy to use throttle 8. Gear shifter that works like it's supposed. Marked 1-7 and unlike in the old days it means what it says. 9. Heybike Support. I wanted to make a slight change and I reached out to them. Not only to they respond right away, but they sent me a video to show me how to make the change. They also sent me a part from China which i got in about 6 days, so I rode my bike until the part came (no big deal). Also they sent it Fedex, and from China you know that wasn't cheap. Imagine a company that has a support group will to do this so that the bike is everything you want it to be. Cons: Heavy bike. So be sure if you going to fold it and place it in your car, remove the battery first. This will make it easier to handle. Even though I wrote this as a con. If you want a solid frame like this without spending $3000 to $4000 for a bike then this is the only draw back. For me it's not a con because I can mange the weight with no problem and I am 65 years old. One last comment. I wasn't given this bike to review or paid in anyway. I just believe that when a company makes a good product at great price for what it is, I always feel I should write a review. Especially with everything that the Heybike Support Group did to help me make this exactly what I want. ... show more
