This is my first e-bike. It did not disappoint. Man does this thing move. Totally surprised me the first time I used it. I can pretty consistently get up to 29 mph. I also weigh 200 pounds so I figure that’s pretty good. It’s a bit heavy and quite bulky but that’s just the nature of the beast. The battery hasn’t died on me during a ride but I don’t plan on traveling super long distances with it. I think if you were going to do that possibly choose a different bike or maybe purchase a second battery to have as a backup. Also you will definitely get more out of the battery if you use pedal assist instead of just the motor. ... show more

upon arrival battery was not fully charged (normal condition), assembly was easy, every single parts fit perfectly, Exception the front basket: the 2 screws on bottom/ lower side of the basket has very small clearance so hard to install the 2 screws, you need a straight allen wrench. The rear basket installation also pain you can tell its an aftermarket product. I will make some good brackets so its fits sturdy. If you cant fabricate your own brackets you are better off with the saddles. The manufacturer paid attention to most details weld-beads are looks nice and strong the bike turning heads in the park. I'm using it for goin fishing to local lakes therefor I have an extra 50-60lbs load, total of about 265lbs. Battery dropped form full to about 50% under 12.3 mile with one incline (overpass) I did not loose speed while crossing. Do not except max distance listed if you have similar loads. The motor is strong have to be careful on start bc it wants to do a wheele, acceleration is obviously good as well. With 210lbs load on full throttle it kept 19.8 miles/hr on flat road, have to say also fully loaded 265lb ish kept the 19.8mile/hr as well. I did not install the app as of yet. after a day of use I can not be happier. ... show more

Heybike has exceeded my expectations when it comes to customer service. Unfortunately, mishaps happen, especially with thousands of miles of shipping and handling involved. I had a couple of issues, and Heybike addressed them immediately without any hassle. I sent an email expressing the issue and provided a couple of pictures. They responded with a tracking number telling me they sent a replacement. I was pleasantly surprised, even shocked, by Heybike's customer service, as it's not common based on my experience with other companies. Usually, there's a lot of back and forth and frustration before anything gets resolved. My wife and I are planning to open an e-bike shop in the Ozarks, and we were trying to decide which brand to stock. After experiencing Heybike's exceptional service and quality materials, our choice is clear. If you know anything about welding, or even if you don't, take a look at the welds on your bike. Received the mars 2.0, very easy to set-up. I had ordered it with a rear basket but was told they were out of stock, Heybike greed to sub with a set of saddlebags which I did receive, so they did resolve that issue. As for the bike I am very happy with the purchase.
