Clear directions, but you should have more than one person putting it together. Once person doing it on their own would be hard. Quality product. Looks good and as advertised. Size is good, seems stable and I have seen both my daughters and 1 Saint Bernard, 2 shepherds and 1 lab all laying on the bed. Not showing any signs of lacking in strength.
