I really love the look of these barstools — they’re modern, clean, and the perfect height for my kitchen island. They add a nice touch to my space and visually, I have no complaints. Assembly wasn’t the easiest process, but once they were built, it was definitely worth the effort. They feel sturdy and well-made. However, comfort is where these fall a bit short. The seat itself is comfortable enough, but the backrest doesn’t offer much — if any — support. You’ll need to sit with good posture, and even then, I find it puts some strain on my back after a while. I typically don’t sit in them for extended periods because of that. If you’re going for style and a quick sit here and there, these are great. But if you’re looking for something you can relax in for longer periods, you might want to keep looking.

I recently purchased the Barr stools, and while I must say that the appearance is quite appealing, my overall experience has been disappointing due to several quality issues. Firstly, the stools have a noticeable wobble, which is frustrating and makes them unstable. Secondly, they are not comfortable for sitting; even short periods of use leave much to be desired in terms of support. To make matters worse, one of the stools broke in less than three months of occasional use. I’m just a single man so they are not used often, weighing 185 lbs, so it's surprising and unacceptable that they could not withstand normal usage. Considering these factors, I cannot recommend the Barr stools. It’s unfortunate because I genuinely liked the design, but the quality simply does not meet expectations.
