  • Now the Waiting Begins
The habitat that emerges when a hen begins to brood is simulated by this incubator. This particular device has a heating element, thermostat, egg cradles, humidity water troughs, and an automatic egg roller. Because the incubator regulates the temperature and humidity to create the best conditions for the animal to develop inside the fertilized egg and hatching takes roughly 30 days, the mother doesn't need to sit on the eggs. With this incubator, everything works flawlessly and it's simple to set up and operate. About two out of every ten eggs in our old incubator, I've discovered, appear to hatch. I haven't had this one long enough for any eggs to hatch, so I'll have to wait and check the percentages after that. With this incubator, everything works flawlessly and it's simple to set up and operate. About two out of every ten eggs in our old incubator appeared to hatch and I am hoping this one has a better ratio. I haven't had this one long enough for any eggs to hatch, so I'll have to wait and check the percentages after that. I chose this one since it has an automatic egg-turning mechanism and can hold 36 eggs. Compared to doing it manually, it's considerably simpler. Even a mister bottle is included so you may wet the eggs every day. The only other requirements are to add the water, and the eggs, and plug in the device. The settings are simple to read and set up. My incubator eggs are a mixture of duck, chicken, and turkey eggs, just like my old one. We have to wait until the eggs hatch to see what emerges from each one because the animals are not confined in individual pens but are free to roam the yard. It will be a surprise. The incubator is quiet as long as the parameters are set properly. A loud beeping sound is made until the incubator is in perfect harmony once more whenever they start to get out of sync, such as when the lid is removed, and the humidity is changed. This gadget is reasonably priced, nicely constructed, and simple to set up, and I have high hopes that the majority of the eggs will hatch. ... show more

  • Candle feature broken
Took my husband a little bit to figure out how to set it up. The candle feature sadly doesn't work. But overall we're happy with the purchase and excited to try to hatch our own chicks!

  • Disappointing Incubator - Falls Short in Performance
I recently purchased this incubator with hopes of efficiently hatching a small batch of eggs, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Unlike some of the top-rated models available like my Kebonnix this incubator falls short in various aspects. Firstly, it is essential to note that this product does not qualify as a top-ten incubator. I ordered on and the automatic turner does not work. Today the replacement came with the plastic rail inside broker so there is no way to install the rollers. Two orders both defective. It lacks the advanced features and precision that one would expect from a top-tier device. The overall functionality leaves much to be desired. Moreover, one of the most critical aspects of an incubator is its ability to maintain and control humidity levels effectively. Unfortunately, this incubator struggles in this department. Despite my efforts to calibrate and adjust the settings, it consistently failed to retain the necessary humidity for optimal egg incubation. This flaw significantly impacted the overall success of the hatching process. Adding to my disappointment is the cheaply made construction of the incubator. The materials used in its production feel flimsy and do not inspire confidence in the product's durability. which is concerning for a device designed for such a delicate task. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this incubator for anyone serious about hatching eggs efficiently. It falls short of the standards set by top-tier models, struggles to maintain humidity, and is disappointingly cheaply made. Invest in a more reputable and reliable option for a successful incubation experience. ... show more

  • It does what it's supposed to
I bought this incubator early with great trepidation, based on the mixed reviews. My eggs haven't arrived yet, so I had plenty of time to test it out for a few days without worrying about the machine or myself making a mistake. (Of course eggs don't have to be placed in the incubator right away, so it's good to get to know the machine before doing so). Temp setting was very stable, egg turner worked perfectly (it's very slow so you have to really watch it to notice that it's moving (your eggs will appreciate that!); the candle light was a little tricky (regular press and long press didn't work; quick short presses did); the directions were generic covering many different machines and not the one i received specifically. Finally, the humidity. Yes, it decreased regularly, but this is to be expected based on many factors and is in no way representative of the machine itself. I have read that Unlike temperature - which needs to be kept constant - humidity can vary greatly without having any adverse effect on your hatch. Guidelines suggest an average humidity level of 50-55%. But in reality, keeping within such a tight range is almost impossible, even for incubators with full humidity control (such as the Rcom King Suro Max 20, below). Your actual humidity levels are likely to vary, up and down, between 40% up to around 65%, before heading back down again. This is perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned about. So, relax! However, I can't see leaving the incubator completely unattended for 24 hours because the humidity will need to be adjusted. Fortunately you can hook the unit up to a battery and take it with you if needed. Within a 12 hour period your humidity will change drastically requiring you to add water. Add a couple drops and wait! Give the machine a chance to heat the water and recognize it as humidity. When the humidity stops climbing, and needs to be higher add another drop or two more and wait. Patience is key. ... show more
