This Herogo 12-piece stoneware dinnerware set is a beautiful, heavyweight set that adds a touch of rustic charm to any table. The "Starry Blue" glaze gives a handmade look, and the double reactive glaze makes each piece unique. While the bowls and plates feel solid and durable, some minor glaze inconsistencies and the slightly awkward stacking of the bowls are things to keep in mind. If you’re looking for a stylish, everyday dinnerware set that’s also durable enough for regular use, this is a great choice. Just be aware that they have a bit of weight to them—which I personally like, but some might find cumbersome. My Rubric ✅ Good = Qualifies as a selling point ➖ So-So = Not great, but also nothing resembling a showstopper ❌ Not Good = Could be a showstopper My star ratings, which tend to skew upward due to limitations in the 5-star system, are further elaborated in a decimalized scoring at the end of the review. The Good ✅ Beautiful design – The "Starry Blue" glaze is rich and gives a handcrafted look, making these attractive enough for both everyday and special occasions. ✅ Solid, heavyweight feel – These are sturdy, thick stoneware plates and bowls that aren’t going to slide around on the table. They feel high-quality. ✅ Microwave and dishwasher safe – Handles heat well, and cleanup is easy. ✅ Scratch-resistant glaze – The double reactive glaze makes them more durable and helps prevent scratching from utensils. The So-So ➖ Some minor glaze imperfections – A few plates had slightly uneven glaze application, but nothing major—just small cosmetic quirks. ➖ Bowls don’t stack perfectly – Unlike some round bowls that nest easily, these have a more squared shape, making them a little less stable when stacked. ➖ Heavy weight – While I like the solid feel, some might find these a bit heavy for everyday use, especially if lifting a full stack of plates. The Not-Good ❌ None at the moment – If anything changes over time, I’ll update. The Details This Herogo stoneware set is a great blend of style and durability. I love the rich, reactive glaze and solid construction, and they arrived well-packaged with no damage.
