    • Poorly machined with no QA/QC
Thermostat housing bolt threads were mis-drilled and would not allow the thermostat to fit with the housing in. Holes were drilled and tapped correct distance apart, but not inline with the center of the thermostat opening. The rest of the casting and machining looked. Bolt holes for thermostat neck are not center, leaves the neck to hang over on the front and lots of space in the back, over all just poor quality, if you have a super nice project and want it perfect don't buy this it looks weird.

    • Tapped threads are not the greatest
The finish is " as cast " and in my opinion good, however, the threads are not the best. The NPT pipe threads for the water heater hoses are not deep enough and seemed poorly done. I ran a tap through all the threads to hopefully correct or make them better if that is possible. I will attempt to use this for my build, I suggest you use plenty of thread sealant. pump housing looks good the casting is pretty clean in side and out could do with a bit of polishing on the inside if you go the time or just putt it straight on very light weight also.
